I recommend the food, the service, gracias Javier, excellent service), the environment. I love Divino Ceviche. Thank you!!!!
I'm overnighting here in Doral and spend several hours looking over dining options. 2 hours internet research and 2 hours walking. I usually dine at Rinconcito Cubano (for decades) but wanted something new. Went with Divino Ceviche and glad i did! A small cozy place, with wooden tables; I was immediately served up an appetizer of fried sweet potatoes and some crisp corn kernels. Delicious! Service was fast and friendly and each waiter/waitress got involved. How marvelous! Nice glass of house Pinot Grigio to start and I ordered the Jalea Mixta (basically a fried seafood platter.) It arrived quickly and I had to tuck in hard and fast. The fish was Corvina and very good; about halfway in taste and texture between a mahi and a bluefish. The seafood was delicious and fresh, and it arrived in a sort of pyramid you often get in New Orleans. The fried coating was extremely light, tasty and non-oily. I thought initially they were too generous with the red onion garnish on top, but I was wrong! It all worked out nicely. A glass of Cab arrived and I shifted into second gear, as they were very generous indeed on the seafood portions! Quibbles: What I thought was some exotic peruvian potato stick was yucca. It had a very faint chlorine odor, like it was submerged in a bath of chlorine for 30 seconds. A mystery I did not follow up on, as yucca is not my fave. I would have liked the fish/shellfish to be hotter when it arrived. Other than these minor issues this was a very fine culinary experience and I can't wait to get more Peruvian!
Can’t never go wrong at this place. Fresh seafood, some of the best Ceviche in Miami great price and awesome service. Try the Ceviche trio which is a sample full dish of three different types of ceviche, you’ll probably want more, it’s that delicious, if you feel like a traditional dish with red meat try their Lomo Salteado .
We were looking for a seafood dinner place and saw recommendations for Divino Ceviche so we thought we would give it a try. When we first walked in we were a bit unsure of the place, but once seated we were treated wonderfully and the food was outstanding. I have traveled to Peru on several occasions and the flavors of the food brought back all the great memories of enjoying my time there. Wonderful food, great portions and a place we will definitely return to on many occasions.
su comida y la agradable atencion
Peruvian food is one of the greatest culinary additions to the Miami restaurant scene. There are many places to go, and this little neighborhood nook in the heart of a business community, with one alone as a server on a night with 8 tables, proved Exceptional. The food was amazing, including the dessert known as Suspira. Tacu Tacu and ceviche for a main? Incredible. While her service was mediocre, she was working her tail off. That should not be a fair judgment of this restaurant, but it is why I am not giving five stars.
Went for dinner with Peruvian wife. I always judge Peruvian Restaurants by the Chaufa. The Chaufa here made me want to come back everyday. Delicious. My wife had Lomo Saltado and thought very tasty, a bit salty. We had the mozzarella filled yuca balls, real good, the huancaina sauce was real good also. Fest service. Really enjoyed place. It’s not to big, has nice little bar, a few TVs. Nice area right off 25th. Great prices I thought
It was mid afternoon, and we needed something light. We were greeted with a cone of crispy fried sweet potatoes with sauces and Peruvian corn. My husband chose the Pulpo En Salsa Anticuchera, a grilled octopus on a small piece of potato and sauce. He fell in love with every bite. I had a usual. Parihuela, a seafood-filled soup. It is nowhere full as shown on the menu, but very, very good. I look forward to trying other dishes from the menu.
Came in for a solo dinner on a Friday afternoon, place was pretty busy but service was still very good and quick. Ordered a causa sampler and a ceviche, and both were absolutely delicious. Spice level for the ceviche was what I expected, and the drinks menu is great.
Excellent Peruvian food in a very casual place. Flavours were heavenly. Lovely staff. Fairly priced. The pisco cocktails are a must try.
