Great service and the dumplings and sushi were fresh and made perfectly. This was our first time here and we truly enjoyed it!

Went for lunch instead of dinner (year ago did dinner) and was just as good. Service was good (food came out reasonably quickly given staff shortages everywhere) and sushi/presentation was very good but pricey. Geisha and Lobster rolls are winners. Brought the kids and was surprised the kids breaded chicken strips were good as well- expected them to be dried out and chicken was perfectly cooked. Everything cooked to order well be back next year.
The ramen is the best ramen in two hours of the area! The pork brith with pork belly complement each other well. If you are looking to have small, or big, amounts of sushi this is a great place to do so. The sushi options are not overpriced and they have the classic rolls sushi as a California roll or the dragon roll. We tried out something new with plum paste and it was refreshing. This is a great establishment for a first date, a family meal, or a quick bite after a day of shopping. You are able to watch the chefs make sushi as well.
1 Check-InWe really enjoyed ourselves here and found the hospitality to be really very good, despite other reviews.So I'm not so much into sushi but am usually up for going along with those that are, especially including my little honey; she just Loves the stuff. So what's a dad to do?While I don't remember what all rolls we had, they were all fairly good in an unremarkable way which in this case was a good thing.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was good and the house ginger dressing was amazing. Sushi was buttery and fresh.
First of all... The high season is GONE in Destin, so for locals is the best time to go out and enjoy. I just visited the restaurant on Monday, 1pm and I was the only table being waited.However, the waiter was like "in a rush" to get our order, asking if we knew what to order 20 seconds after handed the menu.At a glance, food is OVERPRICED.We ordered beer, tea, an appetizer (vegetable tempura) and the entrées (Sashimi and a roll), they came quickly but at the same time (restaurant was empty).The fish they use is clearly frozen and thawed, which is noticeable if you order Sashimi, cause it look colorless and is flavorless. I am very used to order it (BTW is the most expensive dish in every Sushi restaurant menu, this isn't the exception)...First reaction is that the waiter brought the appetizer, the Sashimi and the roll with A FORK... OK... Maybe he's new waiting tables...Two minutes later I asked for a second beer and he handed the beer and THE CHECK saying: "here's the check, no rush"-please see the picture, I'm not joking-.I wanted an additional side of rice (I ordered from an outcoming employee) and my original plan was to have dessert -This guy did me a favor treating me like that-He came to ask if everything was OK and I asked why did he brought the check if I haven't asked for it and instead of apologize, he said "We are short staffed and I'm the only waiter here, that's why I said that I was leaving it here, but no rush at all"...Bottomline, if you want to have sushi go ANYWHERE ELSE, unfortunately there's a lot of mediocre options around, however ANY of them will be better than this one.For the owner:If you just bought this business do yourself a favor and instead of giving excuses to the reviews your clients leave here, TRAIN your employees and IMPROVE the quality of your food.

Absolutely Delicious! I got the tuna poke bowl to go and it was sooo good. I was very impressed with this place. My sister recommended because she loves their sushi. Super fresh fish!
Spicy tuna lovers roll and Geisha roll with sea weed salad. Delicious. Quick service. Super friendly. Cute dining room. Sums up everything Destin is about. Enjoy! Will return.
