Our waiter was the best! He found us seating in the crowded restaurant, immediately started serving us, was pleasant and very free with the thank yous and your welcomes. My husband said if he owned that restaurant he would pay whatever it took to keep him as an employee. Food was good and came as fast as a posdible with such a full house.
It was super busy here and the seating options are very limited if you do not want to sit at the bar. I personally do not enjoy sitting at the bar because I can never hear anyone. Once seated we ordered and it took 30 minutes for our food to come out. Our food came out in small groups. Three peoples food was brought out but without the bacon. Then one single slice of ham was brought out. Then two more meals came out. And finally two side orders of bacon came out as everyone was finishing their food. I ordered two chocolate chip waffles and they came out boarder line cold which was disappointing. Staff was pretty friendly but the wait was very unfortunate.
The food is okay. Didn't expect freezer waffles from a waffle house. Staff was good.

Got to love the Waffle House for fast, friendly and economical experience. The Waffle House in Destin did not disappoint. I go there every visit.
Was able to be seated quickly and as always a top notch breakfast. Never let down by waffle house and this one is one of the best.
We was in town from Tennessee and ate here twice. Penny was our waitress both times and she was so sweet,and had an amazing attitude and she took time to talk to us. She never let our drinks get low. If you every stop in during the morning time ask to sit in Penny's section you will not regret it!!
