Service was not good,food was good,but prices were not great or competitive to other restaurants in the area.Our server had a real attitude and our group was not rude,she was!
Busy time of the season so we waited about 30 minutes for a table but we didn’t mind. Our table was right on the water, service and food was very good.
I recommend their oysters. Comes with wasabi. Also, food was great! We all loved what we chose. Waiting time was an hour tho.
We had lunch here and our waitress was Kayleigh. She was absolutely wonderful!! Friendly, helpful, smiling and available anytime we looked up and needed something. This was our last day at the beach and by far the best meal we had! I had the shrimp tacos and they were divine, along with the rice that comes with it. They are a little spicy if you are up for it. My husband and son got the blackened fish tacos, again, delicious! My other son got the fried mahi fish basket and it was white, flaky and so tasty! Also recommend the smoked tuna dip!! We sat upstairs overlooking the beach. It was a little pricey for lunch, but worth it after the food we have had this week.
We love this place!!! Food and view are always a family favorite. Wait time can get very long and the inside can be very crowded both its worth the wait. Just go to the bar and order a fruity drink in a bucket you will thank me later!
If you are going to this establishment, go early! We arrived at 6:30 and waited 1 hour, 20 minutes, but we did have a large party. The food was good. My wife and I shared the Broiled seafood platter and ordered a second twice-baked potato. Everything was very tasty and we would recommend sharing. Definitely a good place for good food, great atmosphere on the beach. Be prepared in the summer for it to be extremely warm, due to all windows in the establishment being open to the beach. Pray for a breeze! With a large group our waiter was attentive and did a good job serving our large party and the large party behind us!
We had never been here before and somebody told us it was good and understatement. We arrived and there was a huge crowd of people, we thought the wait would be very long. It was only 15 minutes and we got a great table. The menu has a lot to offer and everything was excellent. My wife got some fried scallops and they were done just right. We got three different appetizers and each one was excellent. I got some peel and eat shrimp and there were many and all good. Two of the kids go chicken and that was great also. We were amazed out they got the food out so quick. We would ALL go back again. Don't think you can miss a good meal here.
This is definitely a beach vibe place. The back opens up onto the gulf and the breezes are heavenly even during this hot June. We went twice during our week long trip. The food was good, the service was a bit lacking the second time we went. This wasn’t a big turnoff, as we weren’t in a hurry. They have a daily Happy Hour 3-5 pm. Mostly drinks and shrimp on Happy Hour. You can take your drinks before or after dinner for a walk along the beach behind the restaurant. Parking wasn’t a problem. We enjoyed the experience!
We had a great time at the Back Porch. We went two days in a row. The wait was not bad, the view was spectacular, the servers were awesome, and the food was great! I highly recommend!
Only waited about a half hour. Not bad at all. Service was excellent I enjoyed the best gumbo in town my wife got a ribeye and said it’s wasn’t the best but wasn’t awful either. Still 4 out 5 Best place we’ve ate the whole week we’ve been here.
