This is one of the best Starbucks stores I’ve been to while traveling! I’m a partner as well, and the partners at this Destin store were above and beyond friendly and accommodating. We went early-ish (8am) on our way out of town on a Monday (we avoided the busy times all weekend knowing how it gets at the touristy store we work at in SC), and we were in and out in 3-4 minutes tops, while still having a nice conversation with the partner working drive-thru. Also our drinks were perfect! I will never understand bad reviews based on busy days/times in a tourist town. How busy the area is has nothing to do with the work ethic of the store and partners. To the partners who read this: You rock! :)
Completely no urgency whatsoever and everyone acted like they hated working there. Put in a mobile order for a decaf drink, knowing they don't brew decaf in the afternoon but hoping the fact I placed it prior to arriving, they would have time to put it together. I sat in the drive thru for 15 mins before making it to the ordering screen. I told them I was there for a mobile order, she said it wasn't ready but to head to the window. Another 15 mins before I make it to the window and was told the single coffee has not even been started!!! And that now I needed to pull around and come inside. Nearly a 30 min process for a single drink. Im a big Starbucks drinker so I have ordered from many locations and this one is by far the worst one I've been to.
Needed to pick me up after some afternoon outlet shopping and Starbucks was right on time! Barista help me pick a drink I wasn't too much for the late afternoon. Extremely friendly and fast service!
Busy on weekends for sure! Make time Even for Mobile orders!! They got my order wrong even for mobile order but they made up for it. Nice staff?
Well the drive thru is temporarily closed. I have always felt it was a tight curve and should be widened a bit. Going inside , I was pleasantly surprised to find there was no one at the counter. Having a very special diet I asked about all the sandwich combinations and was told after long deliberation, that particular sandwich was sold out. In came Justin , like a bird, with the sandwich of choice . He then continued to engage by asking how I would like the milk. He was listening to the transaction all the while and I feel he was very adept, alert and efficient at accommodating my requests. Justin has that innate ability to see above the clouds and manage numerous tasks according to priority. I suggest he be hired as a manager due to his overall willingness to do numerous tasks with ease and genuine pleasure.The photograph shown are the workers from the Grand Blvd. location near Public. All the fun things with exceptional staff assured we had a great time eating the new cake pops (brilliant) and trying the the pistachio frappe!!
The coffee tastes like Waffle House dishwater coffee at this location. It's been bad for YEARS. I can't be the only one that notices this!
