We got free rum punch vouchers and I think they had a few drops of rum in them. The appetizers we ordered looked pretty but tasted like they cost half as much. The decorations are also super tacky. The lady who served us was nice tho
Cute place with great views. The manager super sweet as was the bartender. We sat at the bar because there was only one severe & the bartender. Not to busy but very short staffed... understandable... i think the 3 ladies were overwhelmed & feeling pressure. thought the menu was lacking in choices so ordered only drinks.... they looked beautiful, but where way to strong bartender didn't measure just poured(this overpouring will cost money for the restaurant in the long run)in a hurry & there was something blended in them that was pulp or pineapple pieces that made it difficult to drink. Sadly we only got to drink half & at 12.00 each that was disappointing. We would try again if we come back to destin on vacation we can't hold one day totally against them ;)
The menu advertised on the website was not the same as the menu provided at the restaurant. Some items were the same but I decided my day between the breakfast menu and the lunch menu, chose the lunch menu and was a little disappointed. The prices are definitely meant for tourists. Based on the meal I had, the food is overpriced for a few reasons. First, my food came out lukewarm at best. It had maybe 4 or 5 ingredients total, two of which was sauce. The drinks are almost all mixed and they taste more of like the mixer instead of the alcohol itself. There is more I could comment on but to be honest, the best part was the customer service. The seating feels as if it’s meant more for children or teenagers instead of full grown adults.
We have been to almost every restaurant in the San Destin area and we have never left a review for any of them because they all provided an acceptable experience. Not great but acceptable. Unfortunately then we came to Rhumcay and this is the exception. The food was absolutely horrible. The service was even worst. Our waitress never even bothered to check on us once the food was delivered. She then proceeded to add gratuity for a party of four. To add to this very poor experience there were fruit flies everywhere. Do yourself a favor a stay away.
Our server was nice and the food was plated nicely, but the looks were deceiving. The fish was dry, the lobster bites were tough with bits of shell in them. This could be overlooked but the prices were outrageous. If you want to pay for a nice view while you're eating, this a good place if you're willing to sacrifice food quality. If you want good food worth the money, go somewhere else.
Came here for kids eat free that they do every Tuesday and my family loved it. They had face painting for the kids and a great view. It is priced reasonable compared to the other restaurant on the Harborwalk. The food was amazing and I will be coming back

The only things wrong were the shrimp appetizers costing $19 each and we only got 6 small shrimp in one basket and 7 in another. Our checks were also charged 18% for tip, so we didn't really get a choice to tip more or less. They just said hey you are tipping 10.50, have a good day!But the food portions for the main entrees were great. It tasted great!

Came Saturday for the fireworks show and the food was delicious, drinks were amazing and the show was spectacular! Our new favorite spot for my family! Service was on it too! So loving this restaurant!
Save your money. Overpriced bland food. We also saw rodents running around completely disgusting. The view was nice. When we pointed out the rodents to the owner Robert he said that it is normal to have rodents by the water. He did not care.
