Nice, friendly service.Second time having breakfast here as we stayed at the Henderson Loft.The food was good.I had the breakfast burrito and I would consider it above average.I started with house pressed green juice and it was a hit. Nice healthy way to start the day. I also had the ice coffee which was average.My husband and son had the steak and eggs dish. They enjoyed it very much. The steak was tender and very flavourful. My youngest son had the waffle with chocolate chips and seasonal fruit and now he is trying the pancakes.Both were above average.I believe the biggest challenge was getting a table. I wanted to come early, like 8am but the only available reservation was 9:45 so I took that time. When I arrived I was seated within a few minutes.Also, they do offer what appears to be a pretty decent breakfast bar which we did not try but you can see it in the photos. So just make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. Otherwise, our overall experience here was good.
Giving this restaurant an extra star for the work their Sushi chef did to save the day - the silver lining. We are a guest at the hotel. We had reservations at 8:30 and sat for 10 mins before we decided we would pour our own water and nobody noticed. Several wait staff walked by us without acknowledging our existence. We decided to move on our own to the sushi bar. We ordered through the chef at the sushi bar. Still no help from the wait staff. After another 10 mins we went to get the wait staff’s attention and ordered our drinks. My husband got his drink but I never received mine. When we inquired they told us they were out. All around the most terrible service we’ve ever received besides the sushi! They got the bill right though!
Excellent food, libations and service. Beautiful ambiance. We had an excellent time celebrating our mother's birthday. Special shout out to the manager, Taylor for making room for us. You are amazing!!!
Beautiful place. Took to long to get drinks. Seafood cocktail was a disappointment 23.00 for 2 shrimp 2calms 2oysters. Not worth it. My son’s sushi and our 3 filets where good. Not awesome. Need more seasoning. Want be back.
Primrose was a first class experience. I had wanted to find a special restaurant to take a date and I couldn’t have been more happier with the experience. I initially requested the chefs table but with it being Memorial Day weekend, it wasn’t an ideal time. The chef and I spoke and he made it the best meal I’ve had of all my visits to Destin. 5 Star experience all the way!
The live scallop and tuna appetizers were incredible. The roe and brown butter on the scallop was perfect. The oysters were also very good.Excellent service and view.
The food here was great! Definitely pricey, however it is an upscale restaurant
Lovely venue and meal to celebrate our Anniversary. Our waitress was the best and food was delicious.
I absolutely love the food and atmosphere at Primrose! Everyone is so nice and accommodating and the food is phenomenal. I’ve been many times now and everything is amazing - pork belly, oysters, corvina and sushi are my favorites. I’ve been to many restaurants in destin over the years (probably all of them actually) and Primrose is by far the best.
