Once we sat down at our table, Michael came right over and took our drink order. He then offered to start an order of fries to keep our baby busy. Genius. He was so quick to handle every need and also anticipated our needs. He is an incredible young man.

Kerry ann was our server and made a really good meal great. Everyone’s food was great. I would recommend that you request her as your server for a wonderful dining experience.

We enjoyed the food. I had the Lobster and Steak. The steak was great. I don't like blackened seasoning, so the waiter (Michael) made sure the seasoning was not added to the lobster.. Michael was a great waiter and very polite. There was a problem with the computers going down when we were ready to pay. Michael was very apologetic. He was very quick to get the check processed for us as soon as the computer was back online.

So we went here years ago and remember such good food. However this was NOT the case this time. I got the surf and turf, and I've had better steak in the military. The other dinners we got we also very bad. While we were there we also hear others complaining as well. Server was nice but we will not be back.

Here for a wedding and made last minute reservations for dinner and there was no wait so we decided to give it a try. Ordered oysters and never got them so when my entree came out, it was not right. Ordered salad with shrimp and it came out with chicken but because we had waited so long, I just ate it. The chicken was hot but not seasoned. My friend ordered charbroiled oysters (1/2 dozen but they brought a dozen) and she got hers. Crab cakes was her entree order and they were okay. The sweet tea was not good to me. Tasted like it was flavored (which I don’t like) and I just wanted regular sweet tea. We never saw the waitress for refills or checking on us the entire meal so when we got the check, instead of paying with our card we dug out cash so we wouldn’t have to wait any longer to get out of there. Not a good experience at all!

The food was fantastic and the raw oysters were amazing. Wait staff was very nice and I would definitely go back. There are a bunch of restaurants at Baytown and this was one of the good ones

Wife and I had dinner here - first time visit. Started with a salad (for her) and lobster bisque (for me). The bisque had minimal lobster bits in it. Each of us also had a drink. Entrees: fried coconut shrimp, boiled shrimp. Service from Nathera was great.

All I can say, I will do this again. Food was great and the service outstanding. It was the Best Choice for Paulette's birthday.

Was told our wait would be 30 minutes. An hour and 10 minutes later we were seated. Ordered Shirley Temples for daughters. Our waiter had to go make them himself after 25 minutes. Husband ordered a drink. He never got it. Waiter said when we were paying bill he forgot. I ordered crab legs only for him to come tell. me they were out. Hostess was dressing in sweats rolled up to her knees and flip flops. Just an overall bad experience!! Food was decent when we finally received it.

We had dinner at Poppy’s Crazy Lobster last night and it was very subpar. We are very reasonable customers and understand the challenges of running a business these days but this was far beyond that. It seemed like the service staff was spread way too thin and thus everything was excessively delayed. The crab cakes had obviously sat under a warmer so long the remoulade turned to some jello like nastiness. We also ordered jambalaya which was basically instant rice with very little meat. So after sitting there for nearly 3 hours during this ordeal, waiting on drinks in plastic cups, we were presented with a bill nearly $60 per person. We didn’t get it enjoy Baytown because everything was closed by the time we escaped form Poppy’s. We love Baytown and have had many good expletives over the years. I hope they are able to get it back together.
