Went here our fist night in Destin. The drink and the food were awesome. The red snapper was absolutely delicious. We will go back.
We have been trying to get into Pompano Joe's for several days since arriving. It was bleh. We have been in Destin for 5 days and this was the worst meal since arriving. Don't waste your time here. Service was GREAT, gumbo was GREAT but the entrees were forgettable.
Wait times are insane! Don’t take parties of more than 10! Wait times are fair to customers or servers! Good and drinks are great but not worth a 2 hour wait!
On the Beach …open air type restaurant with views of the beach from most every table. There is a small strip of a covered patio with tables. Certainly designed for beach goers with the convenient access and limited parking spaces because parking is shared with beach access parking . Tip, there is a grass lot with public parking space off Newman drive.
The food was amazing as well as the view and the service. We were offered indoor dining as outdoor dining had a wait but our table was an ocean view and perfect! Our server Aaron was very friendly and offered great recommendations about the menu and his customer service was EXCELLENT!!! Parking can be hard to find but it’s certainly worth the wait to get in to dine here if you have an opportunity.
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing because the reviews said this place is good. My food tasted like pure Rosemary. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken dinner. It looked better than it tasted. The plus side the staff was friendly, the wait wasn't long at that time and the view of the beach was amazing.
Food was very good and staff was very friendly! The view from the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. my family and I cannot wait to come back!
Tbe food is excellent. The ocean views are stunning and the overall atmosphere is fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great location, friendly staff, good food, quick service! The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I thought it was a bit expensive for the standard selection of beachside cuisine that most of the restaurants in this part of Florida offer. Overall we had a great experience and loved our waterfront table! Love the location of this place as well - it’s great for grabbing drinks while you’re at the beach!
