My husband and I made reservations at 5pm for our 5 year anniversary. We were seated very quickly. (They open at 5pm) We had Brian as our server. I have to say this place was an excellent choice. Beautiful views, delicious food and some of the best service we’ve had in awhile. We ordered the Filet Mignon and the Pork chop meal, as well as crab cakes for our appetizer. My husband’s favorite thing to eat is pork chops and he repeatedly told me how good it was. Coming from him that’s more than a compliment. Brian was excellent with a cool smooth vibe about him. He was very attentive to us. I’d definitely come back or recommend this restaurant. One of Destin’s best. Thanks for making our anniversary memorable with great memories

If you are in Destin and looking for a fine dining experience Marina Cafe should be your destination. A staple in Destin for years the food service and cocktails are second to none. Combine a great dining experience with a great view of Destin harbor and there little more one could ask for.

We dine at Marina Cafe twice a week during our vacation stay. We learned of an ownership change, which hasn't affected our decision to dine here often. Seems the chef remains the same. Owner (or manager) is present and welcoming. Still have the buy-one-get-one early dining special, which is appreciated with our family of 8. Helen epitomizes great service at a fine dining establishment. All of the appetizers (we enjoy most of them) and entrees remain yummy and delicious and devoured, as was the Aloha roll. I can never resist the coconut cream pie, which is the best I have ever had. Most of us prefered the redfish over the grouper. We miss Jay, who has retired.

My wife and I went for what we thought would be a good meal. And it was far from that. We each ordered the fillet mignon. Both was unevenly cooked. And the potatoes were very sparse. Definitely not worth $56. I’ve had better meals at chain restaurants like Longhorn or Outback. However Emeril’s Coastal. For $60 perfectly cooked fillet whipped potatoes and an additional side.

Since we are tired of steak and pasta, we decided to have some sushi. We ordered chef signature Chirashi $50, a salmon chef signature $30, a eel roll $12. And that’s what we got whole in one plate. Honestly, I can get better sashimi with lower price. For what I got is not worth the money I paid. Kinda disappointed ☹️ btw we waited 20 minutes to get water and 1 hour to get this plate?‍?

The restaurant is beautiful and we were able to make a reservation online for the same day. We were seated right away but didn’t see a waitress for another ten minutes. While the atmosphere is beautiful it’s so packed and noisy that we had to shout to talk across the table. Our service was subpar and the food wasn’t much better.

A friend told me about Marina Cafe and I'm so glad she did! If you go between 5-6, you get BOGO entrees! Crazy for a fine dining restaurant! Excellent food. Wonderful service. Perfect atmosphere for a date night or night out with friends. Loved everything about it. Parking is also good and accessible.

Very diverse menu. Both meals my wife and I had were well above par. The sword fish was amazing and the crust on the Louisiana Redfish was perfect. We had several of the sushi rolls as well and all were well done. Be prepared to spend over $100 but I thought it was worth it

Expensive but worth it. Food was delicious and service very friendly and respectful.Veggie platter with a lobster tail was my order. So much food, impossible to finish. Definitely a platter than can be shared

Dirty glass. Couldn’t eat the salad I ordered which was mildly disappointing. There was a bit of a wait for the food to come out. Waiter was attentive which was nice. I Commented that I’m not supposed to be consuming oil and the tiny Grouper filet which I requested be grilled was tasty but very very greasy - it left little pools of oil on the plate. Scallops were pretty sandy/gritty but the dish was tasty. A little overpriced. The ambiance wasn’t bad. I left hungry.
