Visiting Destin for the 4th, when time came to look for the restaurant, turned to our favorite TA... We were lucky to get to try this place and loved every bit of " Lagnia" as they pronounce it. Their salad dressing was nice and so was the food. I tried their "Grouper Kevin" and wife " Grouper Louisiana " and they both were awesome. It was out first time trying out the Grouper, pretty dense fish and loved it. We chose to sit out on the deck with the water view. Big shout out to Alex, our table guy who had the patience to answer all our questions. Great place.
Good food and friendly service. They do not take reservations, which is unfortunate. The atmosphere was relaxing. Nice place.
If you are deciding if you should eat here… hard YES!! There were 6 of us and everyone’s meal was delicious! We are from Louisiana and take our eats very serious. Delicious! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. And the service… 5 star! Shoutout to Zack. He was attentive and went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. We’ve already decided to dine here again before our trip is done. If there is a wait, wait. It’s is so worth it!
Our waiter Aaron was awesome! Breath of fresh air compared to some of the people in this town. Go on Thursday night between 8-9, be sat outside, and you are previewed to the best firework view in town! Snapper baked in paper with twice baked potato was magnificent
Honestly a hidden gem. Great service, great food and the terrace dining view was amazing at sunset. We had a local suggest it, and can't believe how lucky we were to find it! The server had perfect recommendations. We will definitely be back.
Our family of 10 had a delightful experience. We had a little wait time. Salads, drinks, and hush puppies came out quickly and hit the spot. We had a wide range of entrees and everyone was pleased. Beautiful atmosphere as well.
Thank you Chris for being such an excellent waiter! This meal was absolutely amazing! We sat inside and watched the sunset through the windows, but I took my littles to the back to look at the boats and fish. My husband had the blackened redfish topped with crawfish/lobster and I had the special red snapper topped with crabmeat! WOW!!!! We pulled up and couldn’t find parking, the valet ($7) had a ton of people in line, so we were just going to go somewhere else, then a spot opened up!! So glad we stayed!!
The food was delicious. They bring out hush puppies to snack on while waiting for your food. I ordered the Seafood Lagniappe… I ate every bite. My husband love that they were able to make his pasta more spicy and it came out delicious. All entrees comes with hush puppies, house salad, and baked potato. Very romantic setting! You can catch the water taxi to the restaurant. They don’t take reservations but we were blessed to go when there wasn’t a wait.
It has a very nice and welcoming interior. The waiter was extremely helpful. I ate the shrimp and grits and it was very rich, creamy, and the shrimp was perfect. The atmosphere is very nice and calm. The price is a little up there but I day it is well worth it if you're looking to spend a bit on good seafood. Highly recommend this place to experience at least once.
We’ve been coming to Destin for years and Lagniappe has always been my very favorite. I’ve come here so many times and never had bad service or a bad meal. Every time we bring new friends or family, it is always their favorite as well. From the delicious hush puppies they bring first to the last bite, this place is top notch. A few things I’ve ordered are the Chargrilled tuna, Grouper Louisianne and Stuffed Shrimp. Husband loves Seafood Lagniappe, the special(always the same) Redfish in a Parchment paper. So many delicious options. The salad and twice baked potatoes are great. You will love this place. Lagniappe means “a little something extra” and they sure live up to the name!
