Longhorn is fantastic for a chain restaurant. I find the steak especially far superior to the other primary chain steakhouse's (Rhyme's with Snout Snack). The sides are amazing and complement your chosen protein wonderfully. They also nail their steak's (an important aspect of a steakhouse ?). We also enjoyed excellent service and a good environment during our most recent visit.
After some expensive, disappointing meals during our stay, we decided to try Longhorn Steakhouse on Easter Sunday. We were not disappointed. We splurged a little since we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. I had the New York strip steak with chopped salad and baked potato. My wife had baby-back ribs and the same sides. The food was very good. My steak was chewy but delicious. My wife enjoyed her order of ribs very much. I would have given five stars had my steak been tender. Our server, Brandon, took good care of us. We were satisfied and happy when we departed at the end of our meal.

Longhorns in Destin is the place to go for quality food and great customer service! Hayden was our server and I will ALWAYS request him!! His customer service skills are unmatched. He is very knowledgeable about the menu/items and helped us to navigate the best bang for our buck when feeding a large group! Hayden goes above and beyond. No matter how busy the crowd gets, he ensures to give each customer a personable experience! He is also patient with us. Sometimes we are indecisive about what we want or we add/change things on a whim! He handles it with ease and keeps a smile on his face no matter what! Hayden is what keeps us coming back to Longhorns! The ABSOLUTE BEST SERVER EVER!!! ❤️
Everytime we come to eat we are lucky enough to get Hayden if he isn’t behind the bar! He is always such a great server and always makes sure our food and service is great! Great personality towards customers and great food!
It was very busy, but we sat at the bar and had a beer before our table was ready, no problem. They told us a 30 minute wait, but was only about 20. We had never eaten at this chain before, but people we talked to gave it very good reviews. We both ordered the Filet steak and lobster. We could not have been more pleased with the entire meal, from the salad to the stuffed baked potato I had and the broccoli my wife had, and the loaf of bread. But the cooks did an excellent job on the steak and lobster, probably the best we've ever had. For the quality and service and price, it was the best meal we have had down here so far! Cudos to this Restaurant!
Went on a busy night, and had these really delicious drinks while we waited for our table. Not sure if they make them anymore, but one I believe was mango and the other strawberry. They put a rock candy garnish in the strawberry one. It was so yummy! The only downside was that we waited at the bar for a really long time, because they forgot to come tell us our table was ready.
Excellent service, food was delicious. They were busy but waiter ensured drinks stayed filled and entree came out as soon as salads were finished!! I highly recommend this Longhorns!!
Good lunch menu. We always get the chicken sandwich. Comes with salad or soup and very tasty bread. We were only in Destin for a month and ate here 1-2 times a week. Always got the chicken sandwich which we liked.
7 out of 10 times its good. But the over times not so great, example had a bit of plastic in the mash potato last time I went, they did apologize and give us the meal free but still not good enough for the price of the food. That was the worst its been though other times its just steak not cooked to order etc which they rectify. But again thats rare (no pun intended).
