We love this place and come here every vacation. You can taste the love put into the food and the sangria is on point! And my daughter, who WILL NOT eat bread, loves their bread!
I'd first like to say that the atmosphere here was so relaxing. The service was so good and efficient. The food was DELICIOUS and the servings are HUGE. BUT I'd really love to make a point to say this. When I Ieft I apparently forgot my wallet. We walked on down to the ice cream store for dessert and about 45 minutes later walked back by to go to our car. A lady, who I believe was the owner, approached me and asked if I left my wallet (I hadn't realized I left it yet) and I told her no I didn't think so. But I explained what mine looked like and she brought me to the door and had me show where I was sitting. And of course ended up being my wallet. They were already closed and were just kinda lingering hoping I'd come back and get it and I'm so thankful they did cause we left the next morning to head back to Tennessee. Not often you find sweet and honest people these days. So they get am A++++++++ from me. Should we ever return to Destin, this will definitely be a stop on our vacation.
First off shout out to Bonitall she will exceed your expectations with her amazing service. Best service my wife and I have had since we've touched down in Destin. Pizza was for real/My wife's lobster risotto was made and tasted excellent I highly recommend this place we will be back. Great service great authentic Italian food.
I really wanted to love this place. As a local we try and support local businesses. I will say the service and atmosphere was awesome. The food on the other hand was not good. The fettuccine was horrible. It tasted like buttered noodles. Couldn't taste one bit of parmesan. The lobster ravioli was extremely fishy tasting and smelling. Had to have been old. We left paying $150 and hungry.
One of the best Italian dinners I have ever had, in the coolest little restaurant. Reminded me of a small Italian place in "The Godfather". I had the Veal Crema di Funghi and it was absolutely amazing! The veal was cooked perfectly nd the sauce has no equal. My wife ordered the Melanzana alla Parmigiana. This was one of the best tasting Eggplant dishes I have ever eaten. The kiddos got the Fettucini Alfredo and it was also wonderful. We loved this place so much that we asked about bringing the whole family on the next day to share the experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
It was tasty! I feel bad having not been able to each the full meal, and appetizer. Server was pleasant. I’ve been here before and have been dying to return, not many people are fond of the place but I like it! Only downside was no strawberry tiramisu… will be back to get some eventually. Thank you for being kind to us while serving us a nice meal!
Tired and looking for something quick we went to this restaurant to get pizza. I was disappointed that they did not have banana peppers and green olives as pizza toppings, but we ordered pizza anyway. It was good. Our waitress was friendly. I am not sure what the other dishes would have been like, so cannot comment on that food.
I am a local in Destin, and although everything is so overpriced, you don’t feel as robbed when the food is at least good! I bought there only size pizza that they make, and it was terrible! I cannot speak for anything else, but if pizza is what you want, please go to Merlin’s pizza… they are by far the best!
AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!I chose this restaurant based on the reviews but I was wrong. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to you as well.20 minutes after we ordered they tell me they were out of the Gnocci. I remained flexible and ordered the lasagna. Attached is a picture of what I received as a “lasagna”.My son ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. Attached is a picture of what my son received. No Alfredo Sauce, dry, and no flavor.According to the waiter/server, he brought up the issues to the kitchen personnel however, NOBODY came to address our concerns.I ended up walking to the counter/bar in order to pay my check since nobody was coming to charge me.
The food was marginal. The service was slow. Seemed no one was in charge. Dirty tables weren't bused for 45 minutes. When I asked for some water, my server said "the girl will bring you some when she finishes loading the dishwasher". That took 15 minutes. I will say the Frank Sinatra singer was really good. He's there every Friday night.
