Came here to eat Thursday night and to watch fireworks. Downstairs had an hour and a half wait. However we went upstairs to the Bimini club and the hostesses were great and got us right in at a high top. Unfortunately it had rained and was going to continue to so we couldn’t sit outside, but we had a high top close to the patio and were able to see the fireworks there. The fried fish and shrimp were very yummy and had such big portions!!
We came to this restaurant with high expectations for a great sunset meal. The only thing good about the experience was the beautiful view from the balcony. The hostess and waitress paid very little attention to us. When the food arrived, it was bland, to say the least. The chicken, the seafood, the hamburger, and the tacos were overcooked and tasted as though no seasoning had been used. The waitress had to be prompted to give us a few drink refills before the check came. We will probably not be back.
Raw oysters were good, Italian oysters were not good had shell fragments in a lot of them. Not a good flavor at all. Wayyyyy Overpriced for what we got.
We went with our adult children and their families during vacation and were quite disappointed. The service was good, but the food quality and portions were seriously lacking - and way over-priced! I had the fish of the day (amberjack with a lemon sauce) it came with vegetable and potatoes. The fish was a small, dry, frozen-fish square shape with some paprika, butter, and two (yes two whole) capers, the vegetable consisted of two small pieces of broccoli with a sliver of pepper and onion, the potatoes were the only decent part of the meal, mashed red potatoes. Everyone in the party had similar complaints. If you go I suggest sticking with the appetizers and sandwiches.
Situated on the Destin Harbor the place has great views of boats coming and going in the harbor. There is uncovered patio seating and open air seating in the resturant to enjoy the sounds and smells of the harbor. Food was great.
Food was terrible. Shrimp was tough, chewy and obviously frozen. I would never recommend this restaurant. Save your money. Disgusting to be honest.
For what we spent on oysters, I’m seriously disappointed in the flavor and quality. Shell fragments in half of them, vile pluffmud in another, and an extremely unappealing smell to all of them. For $20-25 for 8 cooked oysters x the 7 plates of them we ordered, it’s absolutely not worth it. Our waitress was super sweet and gave us great service but go elsewhere when it comes to oysters.
We had a wonderful time for lunch! Our waiter Dillon was amazing!!! He was so helpful and fun!!! He got us whatever we asked for!! Was even happy to get my nephew a side of just bacon!! Food was great!!! Will surely go back and will ask for Dillon again!!!
On our vacation we decided to stop here for dinner we got sushi and fish the fish was tough and the sushi was bland and didn’t have flavor whatsoever also prices are not worth the food you get environment is nice and the waiters are polite but I wouldn’t recommend for someone to come here
Great location, good seafood. Wait staff works very hard and the kitchen is happy to cook your fresh catch from your deep sea fishing charters or party boat.
