Bowling Sports Bar

I’ve been coming to this place for years and actually had my first legal alcoholic beverage at their connected bar. It’s a different vibe at night time. I love the arcade and plentiful amount of pool tables along with darts and ping pong. Ron at the bar have always taken great care of me. Food is solid but sometimes slow to get. Check their website for unlimited bowl days and times!

Absolute local gem. Can't count how many amazing nights I've had at Ruperts. Looking through all the reviews, it seems the only people with bad opinions are tourists. Glad you won't be back to ruin a good spot. Stay out of our state.

If I could give zero I would but the lowest is 1 star. We live in Tampa and have made it a tradition to come bowling every time we visit our in laws. Never have I EVER felt so discriminated. We were a larger party than 8 but only 8 of us bowled. My son whom is 6 needed a toddler ball. My husband was told they had none. I walked the entire alley and only spotted 2 neon orange balls (for small kids) they were assigned to the same lane/family. I went to the counter to ask and was told “we keep them here in the back but only have neon yellow (she recognized me and knew that I was with the same guy that had just asked! My husband) we bonded with the lovely couple next to our lane a different race… I was bold enough to ask this couple if they would be ok with asking for a toddler ball even though they didn’t have a kid with them. They said “yes we don’t play that mess let’s do it!” I went again and asked if they had a toddler ball and was told “nope still the neon yellow” the couple that I asked to ask for a toddler ball was purposely behind me, they immediately went after me and guess WHAT? they got the neon orange ball we had been patiently asking for! The same lady in counter gave them the ball! They gave it to us! As soon as our second lane (kids) were done we passed that ball to another family and I not knowing kept a neon yellow ball on my lane (we purchased 2 lanes) . A staff lady yanked the ball from me and said “these are for 7 year olds and under” I felt so humiliated and was shocked. I had no idea the ball was for 7 and under much less understood why in the middle of me bowling the ball was taken. It took me about 2 minutes to realize that this was NOT OK! I went to the counter and stated “ I apologize but as a business professional what you just did was extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. You should of waited till I finished that round and let me know that the ball I was using was for little kids. The way you handled it was very unprofessional and disrespectful!” Her response was enough for me to understand that what I felt the whole time was real. The feeling of not being treated equally is beyond the worst feeling anyone could experience and to know that this was bluntly done is even worse. To have another couple of a different race witness and tag along to see if the feeling we both felt was real was beyond what we wanted the outcome to be. I know this will be brushed off but never again will I allow this family of ours to experience this at this very location. I am thankful my son is small enough not to realize why he couldn’t bowl his first 5 frames!

Fun for the family! Even if bowling isn't your best sport, competing with friends and family make it enjoyable. There's good and arcade games while you wait your turn!

Love it everytime we go. So much to do with friendly service. Great place to take the kids and bowl. And have a drink if you like.

My family were visiting for a quick getaway. This was one of our activities. The cashier was friendly. Was not too crowded at all. Very clean too.

We had a great time bowling and the employees were friendly. The wait was not to long and the arcade was small, but fun. It was my daughter's first time bowling and she loved the fact that the bumpers came up automatically on her turn. We will be back for sure!

Staff here is very rude, bartender seemed like he hated his job and projected that onto customers. Lady at the front counter was very rude as well. Charged us for shoes twice and didn’t give us a refund. Everyone one working here does not care about the job nor the customers at all. Do not come here. If you want a fun night, especially on vacation like I was, save your money and spend it somewhere else.

Fun place to hang out for kids, families and adults. The lanes a pretty good, there are plenty of pool tables and arcade games for the kids in the kids area. There is a separate area for the adult bar area with another pool table or two.You can book a time to bowl and pay by the hour.

Waited to bowl for about an hour because people were before us. This wasn’t the problem.. we understood. Each person in our party paid for unlimited bowling for 15$ + and we bowled our first game, no problem. All of the sudden, our lane shut down in our first round of the second game, and the screen said someone was on their way to fix it. After a minute or two, the screen changed to “paused for your convenience.” We were all under the impression someone was coming to fix the lane until 15 min or so pass by. I went up to the counter and the lady was very rude in saying, “I will only turn the lane back on once everyone has their bowling shoes on.” (this couldn’t be communicated to us?.. seems pretty petty to me). I replied, “okay the three of us at the table have our bowling shoes on, and the lane is still not turned on.”My boyfriend had his regular shoes on at the food counter because we had not received our food for 20+ minutes (i understand it was busy so it was not a problem, but someone in our group, that ordered after us, received their food even though we got the same thing). I assumed our order was lost. The lady at the front desk refused to turn our lane on, and my boyfriend was still waiting on a refund for our food. The time was now past midnight and we were ready to leave. The front desk was not willing to compensate us in any way even though we all paid for unlimited games, and we were only able to play one due to their lack of communication and management of their food counter. It was as simple as coming to our table and saying, “Everyone needs to be wearing the appropriate bowling shoes in order for the game to resume.” Instead, they acted like children and paused the game with the screen saying “someone is on their way.” This is ridiculous, in my opinion. Never did we sign a waiver saying we needed to wear provided bowling shoes, no one told us we HAD to wear the shoes, and no sign is posted anywhere. We are over 25 years old.. if we want to break our toes, let us.The blonde young lady at the front desk is extremely rude and non-communicative.
