Super friendly workers and amazing food!! 10 outta 10!!

Unbelievable owners and staff and the food was AMAZING!!

The food was great at the Navarre location but the staff not so much. The wait staff especially the. bartender was very rude. We ended up taking our food to go and kicking myself for leaving her more than a 20% tip. The staff made us feel like we were bothering them. We won't return to any location.

As traveling foodies, my wife and I were recommended to Dewey Destin. It isn't much to look at initially. It's small and quaint but the restaurant sits out on the pier with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The service is lightening fast (we did come during non peak hours) and there was no wait time. It's hard to come by real crab but the crab cakes are amazing alone! The addition of the remoulade really compliments the appetizer which prepped us for the delicious Fried Gulf Shrimp Collosal. The fries weren't anything truly special. They did lack any sort of spice or salt, but the jalapeno hush puppies and shrimp were the main attraction and were the highlights of the meal!Would enjoy eating here once again if I'm ever back in the area!

Food was ok, but it wasn't bad. The server was just ok. Took a sec to find a parking spot. Was nice that we were able to walk to the boardwalk from here.

You would be challenged to find a place on the entire Gulf Coast that provides consistently great seafood located on the water (intercoastal and Gulf side) like Dewey's. It is one of the best fried seafood places with exquisite simple, tasty appetizers! The smoked tuna and crab dips are satisfying with a sufficient portion size. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. Even the fries seem to taste better deep fried when you're overlooking the intercoastal inlet. Prices are reasonable. They have so many options that I have not mentioned. I have driven 3 hours (one way) to get the food to bring it to my friends and to family as a special welcomed treat! Bring the ice chest with you! You'll be glad to take some items to go!

When a local person said this restaurant was one of their favorites, I knew I was at the right place. At first I had my doubts. You stand in line outside until you get to order. Then you find your own seat, usually outside. Everything is basic and rustic. Once you give your order you find your seat and they bring the food out to you by calling your name. Food is presented in a basket. Low key, no frills, that's that. But oh is the food good! Since this restaurant is located on the water, everything is fresh. If you don't mind not being pampered but enjoy basic, good seafood, this is your place. Two locations. We went to the one on the wharf. Highly recommended.

Good morning from Destin Florida. I’m doing a deep dive into some of my favorite places in Destin, Miramar Beach, and Sandestin. Hope you come along ands get some useful information.Dewey Destin’s Seafood is a local favorite for many reasons. It’s been around for years and you can tell. If your looking for fine dining this may not be your place. However if you into adventure, great views, good food and cold beer. This is the place worth checking out.Located on the harbor with a great view of the happenings on Crab Island and the Destin bridge. You can’t find a better sunset spot. I must warn you that finding it might be struggle for some. The only way to get to it is via two unpacked roads and please be careful of the wildlife. The ? crossing can cause a backup some days. Also the parking lot is full of rocks and holes.Well I’ve given you all the bad points first so hopefully it will deter all those faint at heart. However for those of you who want to get unique and local flavor of Destin here it is. You now find yourself at doorway of a rickety shack with people lined up. Once you get to the front of the line order your favorite choice of seafood. I’m not giving you favorites because it’s all good. Don’t forget to order a cold beer. You will need it while you sit on wooden tables on the piers. Now you have your food, beer, and view. Sit back and chill. Let them know JD sent you.

Really yummy food and the service was amazing. The fresh seafood and gorgeous view of the waterfront made for a perfect night.

They have changed their menu to be very general. For example, you can order the “Fish: Blackened, bronzed, fried or grilled.” If you name a fish it is at least an extra $5. If you are good with the generic, it is Mahi. The tuna dip is served with Great Value crackers. The pecan-encrusted fish is miles better than the mahi. Expensive beer and basically the only restaurant without oysters. Very few side options; you better like potatoes and corn on the cob.
