Great breakfast and brunch restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a short wait after joining the online wait list. Ordered the Shirmp and Grits with a side of fruit. Shrimp and Grits were delicious. My food came out hot. The dish was a little spicy, but I enjoy spicy food. The fruit was fresh and a good amount. I enjoyed my fruit bowl. The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well. Definitely recommend for a great breakfast or brunch meal. I will return again.
There was an hour wait for us to be seated. They take your cell # and text when your table is ready. Kat was our waitress. She was very friendly and efficient. We had the Corisseignets with honey dipping sauce as an appetizer. It tasted exactly like New Orleans beignets I’m accustomed to. They were light and fluffy without being greasy. I ordered the Maque Choux Benedict-it was delicious!!! My daughter wasn’t hungry so she got a side of fruit which was fresh and well portioned. My son got the French Toast. He said it was a 5/5-great texture and not soggy. My husband got chicken fried streak. He said the scratch made gravy was perfect. Overall we rate this restaurant a 10 out of 10 and would definitely go back!
I see why this spot was voted one of the best brunch locations in Destin. The fried green tomatoes and the sauce was great. I got the coastal omelette. It was good but a bit spicy.
The food and service was amazing! Try the cinnamon roll and also the bacon breakfast sandwich( it’s huge)
My husband and I came for breakfast around 8:00 and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The coffee was hot and refilled often. We ordered biscuits and gravy and a breakfast plate. Everything was really tasty, especially the andouille sausage!
We had a great breakfast and very good service. They have excellent menu options and the cinnamon roll is terrific! I recommend joining the wait to reduce the amount of time you spend outside.
One of the better breakfast spots in town. I like their take on Huevos rancheros (not necessarily authentic but delicious) and they have some good scrambles and other items. Tack on a cinnamon roll to your order!
While visiting Destin, My friends and I tried this place on Wednesday and it did not disappoint! Our server was friendly and professional with a great personality! We started the morning with a Bloody Mary that was absolutely amazing! You have to try it! I ordered the Crackdown BLT, my wife ordered the Rajun cajun omelet, my friend ordered the sausage and gravy with pancakes, and another friend ordered the Panhandle Scramble! We also tried the lobster Gouda grits. OMG! Amazing. Make sure you try them. Nothing disappointed!
The atmosphere is good. They had a sign on the door that they were very short staffed and to please be patient with the workers but we got in pretty fast and didn't think we had to wait long for anything. Food was pretty good and our waiter was nice.
Visited Destin for a week, a little before Labor Day 2021. We stopped in to try Crackings... then definitely planned to stop again before we left! The service was great; very kind and attentive. The amount of food for the money was great, and there were no issues when it came to modifying menu items (I was able to get my regular french toast drizzled with cinnamon cream cheese icing). All food was delicious and filling, including the sides. And while other restaurants in the area were good as well, this is the only place I still dream of, and I think the only place we went twice. Wish we had one in Atlanta!
