Staff was great... the food not so much. I got their fried shrimp and there was just WAY to much batter! So, I took the batter off and there was basically a salad shrimp inside. The fried okra was soggy and brocolli was over cooked and water logged. Not impressed.I really just like/love their biscuits!Not a place I would choose to eat at again.The country store is always nice to browse through!
My family and I went to Cracker Barrell for Breakfast . We were seated and waited on quickly, however after that we received little service from Helen. We were short a fork and it took a long time to get the server’s attention to get a one. . By the time I got the fork my food was cold. We noticed Helen took time to visit with customers and ignored us. No drink refills . And finally so unhappy with the service I asked Helen for the check.And yes, no tip was left.
Always enjoy CB. Was seated and served by a manager trainer. He was courteous, attentive and kind while supporting at least four other tables.One negative. We both order chicken strips which were overcooked! A couple to the point of dried out and very chewy. Didn't complain but will stick to fried chicken dinner in the future.
Today must've been a really off day for the cooks at Cracker Barrel. The grits were undercooked and tasted like instant, the sausage, bacon and ham were overcooked to the point of toughness, and the biscuits were crunchy. The ham tasted like a salt lick. Aside from this, the gravy was good, the eggs were perfect, and the apples were yummy. If you order eggs, gravy and apples, your meal will be awesome.
Our waitress was new and she tried hard. Asked for all country ham on my sunrise sample and got it the way it comes... wanted over medium eggs and they were almost sunny side up...but other than that everything was great! Hot, fast, friendly service and it all tasted good. ?
Cracker Barrel is comfort for me I would recommend it to everyone! From a Cracker Barrel lover ♥️
The place had a nice fire in one room it was very cozy and the young man Hans was very nice and accommodating for my family my mother was also very happy with the service so much she gave Hans a good tip for the well done service. The food tasted amazing, and the gift shop was also nice. I will definitely come back again and so will my family.
Waitress was trying. Though she couldn’t get anything on time. And took the orders to the wrong people. I had a big party and they put us all directly by each other but couldn’t pull the tables together. It really made no sense, there was plenty of room.
Dined for breakfast at Cracker Barrel while in vacation in Destin, Florida. We were greeted and seated very quickly. Our server was friendly and accommodating. I had my usual Mama’s Pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. My food was ok, but why do they only give you one bottle of syrup for those three pancakes? I asked for extra bottles of syrup for myself and my niece. When I finally got extra syrup my pancakes were cold. To add insult to injury. The syrup that’s usually warm, was cold. This your place to get your pancake fix, just ask for extra syrup when placing your order.
With a friendly, welcoming demeanor, front of the house handled our large group with no notice & sat us quickly. Our waitress was fantastic. Orders were correct & food was served hot & with minimal wait time. I observed the staff pull together to accomplish serving us all at once! Truly great team at this location! Thank you all for being a great start to our day :-) (5*)The only disappointment was the lack of hashbrown casserole & it's (in my opinion) sub-par substitution. (-1*)
