So it happened...I needed something besides seafood in Destin. We started with chips and guac. The guacamole was a simple recipe, but was fresh. For entrées, she had shrimp tacos, Chipotle style and I had a chicken taco salad, also Chipotle style. Both were great, light and flavorful! On a side note, some pictures of the menu are more than a year old, they do not have steak currently.

We were driving through the area and decided to come back to this spot for lunch. So glad we did! They serve burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas and taco salads. I had the nachos and my husband ordered tacos. My two preschoolers were able to split the quesadillas and the portions were perfect. We were very pleased with how fresh everything was. Request the house salsa - it was delicious! Excellent service. Looking forward to visiting again.

Very quick and accommodating for our group and the food was delicious. Low priced! We returned for a second time three days later and just as good.

Great place to go for lunch. Food was good and prices reasonable.

Burrito Del Sol is what I didn’t know I needed everyday of my life until I had it…seriously though one of the best local restaurants on the pan handle!! It just does something to your soul when you eat here..maybe that’s why it’s called burrito del sol ? love the staff! Love the environment! Amazing food! Do yourself a favor and go eat at burrito del sol!!! ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Burrito Del Sol serves delicious but questionably good authentic Mexican food. I like the flavor styles they incorporate because they’re unique, for instance I love the Baja style and pineapple salsa, but for the past few years they haven’t really changed up their styles of food which makes enjoying Burrito Del Sol kind of played out once you’ve had it more than a couple times, but I’m still going to say it’s worthy of 4 stars and I would recommend if you’re a tourist because they do serve great food so it’s always worth trying. Service tends to be okay, it’s sort of an order and sit down style which I prefer but I would say I prefer Fort Walton Beach’s location a little more than the Destin just for location’s ease of access. Destin is more cramped, if busy tends to be cramped, but outdoor seating tends to always be available.

So good. Food was amazing, tried a daily special, chicken and bacon tacos, and got blackened fish tacos Baja style. Both were amazing. The chips and salsa on the side were also fabulous. Service was quick. A couple nearby us was a little confused, it's an order at the counter then grab a seat for them to deliver your meal type restaurant, so be aware!

I ate at the Fort Walton location and loved it, so we tried the Destin location and it was AWFUL. I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos Baja Style and I had to ask for the pinapple salsa, there was none and no lime. The fish tasted awful, and was so dry. I ate one and threw away the others. My stomach was sick the rest of the day. Other person with me had quesadilla and black beans and the beans were terrible, threw those away. I don't understand how this location could be so bad compared to the food we had at the other. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

first of all food is amazing per usual but over the past year I have been going to Del Sol I had the WORST interaction this morning. just a rude & snippy employee. I am very disappointed with how she acted when it came to picking up my togo order. also, if you're gonna have such big bags for chips why not fill them up? paying an extra $2 for queso and can barely enjoy it because there's maybe 5 chips in the bag.

Very good and reasonablely priced! They were also great about making sure my meal was gluten free.
