Took our adult granddaughter for lunch at Wood and Fire on Sunday. Arrived at 1pm when they opened. We were given dinner menus, and when asked for lunch menus, we were told that since they open at 1pm on Sunday they only serve dinner. What?? The prices are almost double the lunch prices. That being said, the food was delicious. I had the chicken Parmesan, my granddaughter had the shrimp Parmesan and my wife had the eggplant Parmesan. The shrimp and chicken each came with a choice of pasta. The eggplant did not. This upset my wife, who thought for the price it should have come with some kind of side. While the portions were large, we were there for lunch and would have been happy with smaller portions. Of course we brought home what we couldn’t finish. The room was comfortable and the service was pretty good. Just would have liked a lunch menu.
We ate at Wood and Fire a few weeks ago. They have a very nice outside seating. The service was very good and the waiter was attentive. My wife and I shared a pizza and salad. They were both very good. If you want a casual dining place I highly recommend Wood and Fire.
We just had a 4 course dinner for a group of 20.It was absolutely spectacular. The food was superb and the service was exceptional. Kudos to the Manager, who was also great.It is hard to find good help these days. This restaurant has some great people who really care about putting out delicious food and service which is rare.To all the employees and management, thank you so much for making our dining experience so memorable. We got there at 7pm just after the happy hour. We didn't know about the 4-7 pm happy hour but will return for that. We ordered the Margherita pizza, chicken milanese and rigatoni bolognese. Everything was delicious. My chicken milanese was one of the best I've had in a long time. 2 huge pieces of chicken and delicious arugula salad was amazing. My hubby's bolognese was tasty but he needed some grated cheese to add some salt to it. Pasta was done perfectly. The pizza was thin and tasty. I would've liked a bit more sauce in the pizza but it was overall very good. We didn't have any drinks from the bar. The bill was $76. A bit pricey for the type of food but we enjoyed it. Would definitely go back for happy hour to get a better deal. BTW, we had a table for 2 and the type of aluminum chairs they had were a bit uncomfortable.
Food is was very good, pizza could have more flavor. Appetizers are always good and drinks are done right.
Always one of our favorite spots. Pizza’s great, wings are good, and the Nutella Pizza (dessert) IS A MUST!! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Money back guaranteed! (Jk, not sure about that).
Basic wood fired pizza restaurant. The flavors were nothing special but it was decent. Very loud and bustling environment. They also have outdoor seating with a happy hour.
Great spot for Italian dishes and Pizza! I usually get the Chicken Parm w/ Angel Hair. Gluten Free Pizza options are available but I did not confirm if GF Pasta substitutes are available.
First time in to Wood & Fire and definitely not my last! First of all, the location is SO convenient. It’s on Atlantic but not downtown so the restaurant itself is quite large with so much space for seating both indoors & outdoors! There is a ton of parking as well which can be one of the most logistically challenging aspects of dining out in Delray so it’s amazing not having to worry about that here! The market steak was absolutely phenomenal. Cooked perfectly, huge, and both sides were delicious. The chicken parm was also massive and sensational! Their menu has so many offerings and I can’t wait to come back and keep trying new things! The service was very friendly and we were sat quickly with plenty of space. I would absolutely recommend Wood & Fire!
Just met friends here tonight for happy hour. Now my favorite Happy Hour. Half price for any drink. I ordered an Old Fashion. No skimping on the bourbon because its half price. Was very good. Our apps were great and my wife and I shared a delicious pizza. We are from NY so I am critical about my pizza. Dave was our waiter. Very pleasant , accommodating and funny even though he was from Boston ( only kidding ) I will be back soon
