I am sorry to have to say the Chef here is obviously obsessed with garlic. Raw sliced garlic was added in huge quantities to two dishes I recently tried. Someone must tell him Italian food is not about garlic. Have never had this in any other Italian restaurant.
We enjoy going here during our past 10+ years of trips to Delray Beach. I love their garlic rolls!! The restaurant is always clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My bf and I went for the pizza special in November 2021 and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. However, we notice their prices have increased significantly over the years. I was there with my in-laws in March 2022 for the early bird dinner. Our waiter (Vinny, I think was his name) was very friendly and very attentive. My mil and I both ordered chicken francaise and my fil ordered veal parm. The chicken was $21/meal and the veal was $24. Granted, the early bird comes with soup or salad, and a drink or coffee and dessert (red velvet cake or a cannoli), but it was still expensive when you add tax and tip. I recommend Sal's but it isn't a cheap place to go anymore.
I ordered delivery and the pizza was hot and delicious. But I cannolis were shells were a little on the stale side, and not completely filled. I understand charge what you're worth but a single large cannoli that was not completely filled and stale is not with $6, I'm sorry. Also I did not like having to give the CVV number of my credit card over the phone, or repeating it. That's just a personal thing. Also, I just wanted to mention, the delivery guy was really sweet.

Great pizza. Great Only I would have preferred is no sugar in the pizza sauce. To me tomatoes are sweet enough. I would eat there again. Pizza good as my pizza
Eggplant Parm was excellent. They did not have the garlic knots that I had in other locations, so a bit disappointing. They also did not have Eggplant soup, that Coral Springs has daily. I highly recommend it if they have it. Apparently a limited time item. Service was excellent!
Decided to get a pizza for Valentine’s Day and ordered from Sals in Delray Beach on Linton. We ordered a 16’ Margherita pizza. What a disappointment. It was cold and did not have any cheese on it! Resembled a cardboard box from Home Depot. Fail Fail Fail. Will never order from any Sals Restaurants. Best to go to Anthony’s Woodfire Pizza on The Ave.
The food is delicious. I had a nice glass of Prosecco, $6 happy hour price, decent, and sat outside, almost another plus. The Caesar salad was superb. Nicely cut, really fresh romaine, shaved Parmesan cheese and a tasty complementary dressing. First class Caesar. And the waitress. Sara, Very nice, quick, intelligent. And the Penne ala Vodka was served hot and delicious. So what was my problem? The so called music, not some soothing Italian music to make people happy, but some rude, moronic radio music, hardly more than a nauseating drum beat. Nothing you’d want to listen to while you ate unless you wanted to commit suicide after lunch. I called Sara over. Asked her to have the music turned down.. she said she couldn’t. Why not? The owner said so. Oh? Well let me speak to him. Oh he’s not here. So we are abandoned by the owner who doesn’t have to listen to trash but the customer does? Sal, Your food is great. Your chairs and tables are good enough. Your atmosphere………I’m sorry to say- your atmosphere is wanting... and I? I am deprived of your luscious food for lunch, because I like to sit outside, but not in chaos.
Do not support this location the owner Justin is an absolute monster. He will keep his drivers there’s from 10 am and not tell them when they’re leaving and get upset when they want to go home after 10 + hours. Your TIP is not all going to the staff either. He takes the delivery fee AND the tips and then has the nerve to call his employees GREEDY. A truly disgusting human
Great food but the owner Justin is an extremely unprofessional pompous, greedy man who over works his employees and refuses to pay what they deserve and even steals money from them. He does not provide schedules and will work them till the cows come home without extra pay. Go to another location.
