Very good lunch.Tom helped us nd he was polite with a smile !!! .Hubby got the Reuben on rye,it was buttered nd of course the sandwich was warmed on skillet ..nice size sandwich ,potato salad instead of fries, fresh pickles nd cold slaw..My Burger was very good sauted onions mushrooms Swiss cheese, along with fresh lettuce, tomato nd red onion on a brioche bun. Both came out super hot which is a major plus on our list ..We've never had a bad breakfast or lunch .It's Summer here nd they close early.I also enjoy their ruggala (not sure if it's made there) they are good!!!! Nice bagels like any place ways try it nd try again..Enjoy !!!!

We we’re so blessed to gave Todd as our server. He was super nice. He suggested a meal told us what was in it. I had the healthy salad. Loved it. Thank you Poppies. Thank you Todd !!!

Eggs cooked to perfection. Just like a long island dinner. You order, minutes later your meal shows up. Nothing like the usual slow Florida eateries where things move at slow speeds. Prices are reasonable, worth a visit.

If possible, I would give them zero stars!!! Been clients of Poppies for 30 to 40 years. We moved to Vero Beach recently, however my husband was in Delray Beach recovering from Covid. My husband picked up 4 quarts of chicken soup on Friday to bring back to Vero for myself and my son’s family because we all got Covid. All 4 quarts were sour (tasted like they made it two weeks in advance) and had to trash them. Called Poppies and they refused to acknowledge that it was possible and basically told us to drive 2 hours from Vero beach to Delray to return the sour soup. They basically called my husband a lier. WHAT RESTAURANT SERVES FOOD THATS OVER A WEEK OLD AND THEN ACCUSES THE CLIENTS OF LYING? You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Discovered Poppies on Monday and it was so good that we have been back Thurs and Friday. Everything is excellent. Service is fast and nice. Ambiance is classic deli.

This place is wonderful! So many options to choose from no matter what meal(breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner) you get. I had an avocado toast and it was a very nice portion. It was actual avocado slices instead of a spread. Still delicious! Came with two eggs, tomato, a sauce, a chocolate chip mini muffin[on the side] and spinach. I enjoyed it. I was catching up with an old friend so we were so busy chatting ...we didn't eat much. I would definitely return to try something else. I regret not getting my bagel with lox. They had Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. They remind me of a dinner from back home (NY) ....Tom was our server and he was great! So patient, took us forever to order since we were so busy chatting. Very helpful. I look forward in returning. I'd highly recommend this place. Thanks

We ordered the Passover Seder. The chopped liver was sweet and unappealing. The matzo ball soup was good but too salty. The brisket was excellent as was the turkey and chicken. The gefilte fish was inedible.

The food was just okay, been here twice and disappointed both times. Cornbeef hash was mushy and the bacon tasted like it was cooked the night before. On the first visit the rye bread was fantastic and the second time it tasted like stale bread toasted. Not sure about going to this place again.

I brought my 102 year old mother who is in remarkably good health. We sat outside with relatives who travelled from the N East and PB. The service was embarrassingly awful. The food came out wrong. What a shame to have a reunion ruined by your restaurant.

Concerns: Terribly overpriced, even for the area. Witnessed the owner berate staff. Server hardly spoke to us during our stay, except to rush us to order and to pay (restaurant was empty, no waiting patrons; she just wanted to leave). We had to ask for napkins, etc.Compliments: Food is good; diner atmosphere is welcoming; outdoor seating is a bonus.
