This place is hit or miss. Half the time it is great. The other half of the time they short you food. I have probably been shorted over $50 in food just in the last 3 months. Guess what, after a long day of work im not going back for cheesy yucca bites or my missing sides. I call the store and they say they will take care of me next time and they never do. Customer service here is terrible. You can ask for sauce and it wont be in there too. Hope you dont need silverware as well. If you order 3 meals you might get 2.
I ordered online to pick up at the store I received a msg that my order was ready but it wasn't Noone addressed me after 20 minutes I Saud this is ridiculous in total I waited 45 minutes for my food and others who ordered online were waiting also so I advise dont bother to order online go inside it will be quicker everyone who came in after me to order in the store were served and left.
I work next door to this location and had to go over and right some wrongs that were done to mine and my coworkers meals. The manager on duty, (I do not know her name, unfortunately) on 4/11 was so quick, cordial, and kind. She obviously knows what great customer service looks like!
I got a tropichop and their beef empanadas. I asked for pepper from the guy and he said okay. When I got home, I was missing my beef empanadas and there was no pepper.I called the store with the number on the receipt but no one answered and it just rang. After a few minutes I just hung up and said to myself "whelp, there goes $3.49"
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER… do you know how it feels to be hungry after a long day of work; go place and order; pay $31.54 for a the family meal so you can feed your family. Go all the way from Delray to Fort Lauderdale just to find out they didn’t put THE CHICKEN AND THE CESAR SALAR you just ordered and PAY???… Never happened to me at other pollo tropical but in these one. So disappointed. Called and complain, they said SOMEONE WILL called to refund my money STILL WAITING FOR THE CALL. 8 days when by and nothing.
The meal and service was okay. Needed a quick meal. They were extremely busy. Purchased the family meal. Chicken was dry, asked for the whole chicken uncut and it was cut up, requested brown rice and got white. Wasn't my worst meal, but was far from good.
Every other trip my drive through order is messed upToday I ordered the avocado wrap which was so delicious last time the person asked me about the different things to go in it and one of them was chicken and I said no I don’t want any chicken just avocado and the rest of the things that come in it so guess what I got today I got a wrap that basically had rice corn and black beans and no avocado. So the avocado wrap with no avocado and of course on my order it says that it’s a chicken wrap and I questioned that and she got very snippy with me saying that was the only way that she could order it So frustrating and this happens basically every other time I go there for example two times ago I ordered french fries which are really good at this location but they ended up giving me the Yucca bites
The service is so bad that it makes it just not worth it to ever go bad to get the chicken that is so good. 50% chance they forget at least 1 part of your order. the service is so bad that if the item is under $5 it is better to take the loss and avoid another interaction with the very very lackluster staff that is the perfect mix of angry at you for bothering them and too high to care.if you want great chicken more than you want to avoid the most incompetent group of people I have ever encountered, then it is honestly worth it. get the POYO POYO sauce. it is legit
A good takeout meal for a great price. Ordered online and food was waiting when we showed up. Couldn't be easier. Food was good and the packaging is in cardboard boxes instead of the plastic most places give. We had our own salad and cooked vegetables making th Pollo dinner last for two nights. .
We have a great experience today the people was friendly and the Manager was very attentive When we asked questions about the menu. The meal was hot and delicious definitely we will coming back.
