Went here about 4 or 5 hours ago and can’t stop vomiting. I knew they were off their game tonight with very short staffed, a warm restaurant, and servers just all over the place, it was a mess. Also the person in the kitchen constantly ringing a bell for servers to pick up food was beyond annoying and loud. Feeling so sick, never going back here it’s really not the same as it used to be. Food was so bland, refill of chips was 3.50$ (for a table of four with a small chip basket), really??? Place needs to be revamped or shut down, used to be great.

Sorry guys, at least at our visit, this place not a 4 of 5. Let’s review: Atmosphere : 2 of 5. Loud, bland, no music. Service: various persons running around disinterested and/or overwhelmed. One waiter was top notch and too good for this place. Kitchen: confused & short-staffed. Value: we won’t be back.

Chips and salsa to start, love it. didn't have to wait long for the food either. Plenty of food on the plate, loved the chicken on Spanish yellow rice with peppers, salad with tomato, plantains "Arroz con pollo" entree and huge iced tea. Very generous portions and drinks. Wonderful Mocha Mud Pie ice cream delish! Cab't believe I haven't been here before. Definitely great for lunch or dinner, and always people coming in when I passed by.
The best Spanish Mexican food in the area, Clean, friendly staff, ample parking and sitting, hot and fresh food comes to your table fast. Salsa is fresh with hot chips. Extra chips n Salsa is $1.50 but well worth it.
We love the tacos here. They are over stuffed and most are quickly deep fried (depending on ingredients). Always had great service. Free chips and salsa.
I am so angry about this experience. The server couldn't speak English, she got the wrong dish and I still had to pay for something I did not eat. No manager she says. Wow, the salsa was amazing as the well as the cheese dip. Nothing else was eaten. Wrong order, and couldn't understand me to change it. Please save your money. I literally just paid 68.00 to have a small Queso dip. Unacceptable, unprofessional . No manager?? Really? Smh
La Bamba has been a south Florida landmark for years. 3 locations the last time I checked. This specifically addresses the Delray location.I have been coming to this location for years. Unfortunately, it has gone from great to so so. Today we waited 10 minutes at the hostess desk, before I gave up and went looking for someone. I finally found a server and we were seated 5 minutes later.Our waitress, who knows we were just seated comes over, asks what we wanted. I said I needed a minute and she moved off in a huff.We eventually ordered and the food came. It was good, but not as good as on prior visits. I love this place! It is my favorite Mexican restaurant, but the last few times have not been up to par. Service has been questionable, though that could be largely from being understaffed. Sometimes we had to wait long time just for drinks and other times we would get attitude from server. Sometimes they would get our order wrong, but to be fair, our order is always complicated. Most recently, they brought out terrible looking, wilted, brown lettuce for the fajitas. When we asked for fresh lettuce, they returned with a small bowl of the same lettuce claiming it was all they had, that they were waiting on their delivery. I understand about shortages and delivery issues, I have them at my own job, but at least be up front about it. Don't come to us with an attitude, like how dare we ask for fresh lettuce! What were they thinking serving lettuce that looked like that at all? Side of ecoli with your dinner anyone? We're going to take a break from here for a while.
So yummy. Fried ice cream wasnt really fried just rolled in corn flakes but it was good. Each meal was delicious. Spicy salsa not that spicy but it still was good. Margaritas were awesome.
