This family (Italian) owned cozy restaurant has so many REAL Tuscan dishes, I never know from which to choose. We are never disappointed. We love taking family and friends there when they come to visit and they are always impressed.

I heard excellent things about this place and was excited to try it. They food is pretty good, but not great, especially for the high prices. Service was slow and inattentive. Some staff were very friendly, but our waitress was a little on the sour side, which was a bit of a turnoff. They had a fig salad that was very good but was simple for the price. The Chicken Frances came out super rubbery. The seafood terrine was good, but lacked flavor. We had a chocolate gelato dessert that was excellent.Overall with the misses on execution and delivery, I left a little disappointed. It probably would have been a better experience if we had the friendly waitress that we felt comfortable engaging with instead of the one we received who ignored us for long periods of time and then seemed a little hostile throughout the evening.

This place is the best kept secret, the homemade pastas and Italian dishes are right from Italy to your table. There Bolognese sauce is the best I've ever had and I've been to every Italian restaurant in New York !! Go there !!!

I had heard from many folks this was supposed to be a local favorite. Quite honestly, I’ve had better. Good Italian food is memorable. When you leave a good Italian restaurant you remember the tastes. I ordered clams with linguine. The clams were good but linguine was very liquidy with no taste. Tasted like boiled pasta. Another member of our party ordered veal piccata. She was told they didn’t have capers. She ordered it anyway and it came out bland and also watery. My husband’s escargot were fine and lobster ravioli was good but very rich. My mushroom soup was homemade and also good. But all in all we were disappointed.

Definitely five stars, from the second I walked into this restaurant I was greeted by a friendly hostess and made comfortable. Dinner started with a Caesar salad (excellent), my entrée was veal Parmesan (excellent), and I finished with homemade spumoni (excellent). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and honestly cannot wait to come back ASAP

Amazing Italian place everything was delicious, my family has been eating here for 20+ years

Excellent service to go with great food. I had the branzino which was fantastic!

My Mother has been dining here for 25 years. Reminds me of being in Manhattan. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding, from steamed clam appetite, REAL Ceasar Salad nooo bottle dressing right down to the Anchovies and Shaved Regiano Parmesan! Had 2 glasses of Amarone along with my Veal Chop, again outstanding. She had Veal with mushrooms, tasted very good. Unfortunately we had zero room for dessert. Definitely will return on my next visit.

They closed the kitchen 30 minutes before their posted closing time so we couldn’t eat here :(

Although the Service and the Food was very good, it was WAY OVERPRICED!!2 SMALL CANNELONI WITH SPINACH AND CHEESE, A BOWL OF MUSSELS AND 1 GLASS OF CHAINTI ...$80.00 WITHOUT TIP..RIDICULOUS
