I enjoyed the spicy crab cake lettuce wraps, the crispy skin salmon, and so was my chocolate dessert.

I think you guys need to work out the kinks on the new menu. The old menu was amazing
If you are a foodie, then this is not a restaurant for you. Place is nice, service is great but the food is just ok. No amazing dishes. No impressive plating. For us, if we live close by, this will be a local restaurant to go to for a quick bite. The really hideous thing is that people outside are passing by shirtless and in swim suits, so if you are sitting next to the window or have a table that is looking on the street, be ready to see half naked people passing by. Unfortunately because of that and not impressive food we wonât be coming back here.
Waitstaff had hiccups. Restaurant week menu was weak and not a value. The $79.00 steak was cooked wrong. Salads came out at different times. Wouldnât rush back.
We have eaten at Ember Grill several times, and the service and food have been excellent each time. Last night, was different. They have hired a new executive chef who is in the process of introducing new menu items. We always order the branzino, but this time it was served differently. It came with about 2 tbsp of pureed white beans (more of a garnish), the fish was less than half the size of what we were used to, probably about 4oz, perhaps 5oz. Price $38! We ordered a side of broccolini, 4 sprigs, for $11. When the manager came over to ask how everything was, we mentioned the portion size being incredibly stingy. She replied, "people were complaining that the branzino order was too large, so we reduced it". We didn't even want to respond to what she said because reducing the order size, and increasing the price was insulting. We will not go back. We ended up eating again that evening because we left starving.
