If your looking for a place to chill and talk or get some work done. This is the spot. Food is good, coffee is solid. It’s a hidden gem off Atlantic. The catch to finding this place is going one way north on 6th. It is just behind Firestone. One huge feature is they have a private parking lot so you don’t have to drive around for 30 min looking for parking. Makes getting and out easy. Many of the other coffee shops in the area are not set up like this. Carmela has severalDifferent seating options. The outside seating is nice, but inside you can sit by yourself and get work done at one of the large tables, you can chill on the couch with friends, or you can have a quickChat in one of the larger chair sets. It’s not loud and it’s typically a pretty chill place especially in the mornings.
Carmela's is the best! The unsuspecting storefront conceals an absolute gem of a Cafe. Mindy makes phenomenal coffee that is almost as sweet as she is, and the bacon and brie sandwich is to die for, though it's impossible to go wrong with anything on their menu. Everything is a hit, from coffee, to their specialty avocado toasts, omelets, and even the pastries are top notch. Great atmosphere, the lobby is cute and well-furnished with comfortable seating, with tons of spaces to work while you fuel up. Do not sleep on Carmela's!
This is one of my favorite coffee shops!! I found it by accident when I saw it from my hotel in Delray (Aloft) It's a short, easy walk. We both had iced lattes, carmel, and almond milk, and I ordered the Strawberry Almond Avocado Toast which was very tasty! A little hard to eat but very good. We definitely enjoyed going back a few times during our visit!
Best coffee shop atmosphere to work remotely. GF empanadas are fab. Friendly staff and owners.
Medium roast coffee has a caramel flavor to it. Nice and smooth. The spinach and cheese empanada was very flavorful with crispy edges. Really enjoyed it and it was served hot. A sweet and savory dish to go with coffee for breakfast. Also had their banana coconut loaf. Nice combo and not overpowering on flavor. Would definitely get again.
Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Amazing. I will be back. I recommend this place.
The BEST Smoked Salmon & Avocado sandwich ? The bread was nummy, the sandwich more than I could eat. Great service! Definitely want to try their coffee next.
Always a great time at Carmela’s! This is my favorite location I’ve been to so far. It’s not too busy and the staff is so so friendly. The food is always great no matter what I get and the coffee is amazing ?
Great place for breakfast, or a quick lunch. The salmon avocado toast, queen avocado toast are amazing. The pumpkin spice coffee is just perfect. They natural orange juice too.
Most morning I go to this place, there’s 2 ladies working one with long hair one with short hair.I unfortunately don’t know their name, but usually the one with SHORT HAIR she’s very good; But few times time I went in, the one with long hair, she completely burnt my espresso shot, I order large hot latte, it was very sour the I couldn’t drink it. It was $7 for my large hot latte :( it’s very frustrating having to start your day with that
