Ordered at 9:20 was told AFTER paying that they are out of knish. Two girls on the line in the BOH then started taunting me because I was clearly disappointed. After walking over to a table to wait for our takeout order, I hear one of they lady’s day the knish was in the freezer. So they were not out of knish, your lazy BOH workers just didn’t want to make anything. We waited 20 minutes for the food we didn’t even want. Coming from someone who works in the service industry, this was very disappointing. Will not be returning to this location.
Worst bagel I’ve ever had they are so hard and be careful ordering from DoorDash because the bagel place will not help you and you can’t get a hold of DoorDash nine dollars worth of bagels in the trash harder than a brickbat… And when I called and talk to whoever was there for a moment she giggled I didn’t think it was funny
First off I ordered, through Uber eats and it said that they were closed or they couldn't do the order? I tried one more time and it went through and it took 15 mins longer than it was scheduled to take, 50+mins altogether, for literally a bagel sandwich and a side of egg salad!? Then when I finally get it, a scooped bagel with ham and cheese, there was like a little bacon on it which was kind of odd. So I checked the inside and, scooped yeah right?! See pic, that was the unscooped parts, wasn't able to even get all of it because I'll lose my cheese and mess up my whole sandwich. Listen, if it's too much for your employees to scoop the bagels, then don't offer it! But definitely don't half...... you know what it!! 50+ mins and $24+ later, a bit disappointing, to say the least! Egg salad is all yellow and $10?! That Brooklyn water must be really expensive! Value for the money, just not there.
Love the place, best bagels in the south By Far. Fairly expensive for a bagel w cc and an iced coffee but def worth it. Good bialies, great iced coffee, my daughter likes the muffin. Everytime I go here I have an issue. No matter what I order. Today I ordered a dozen bagels and they messed up the order again. So I called to let them know about it and I was offended a free pastry, I would have rather gotten gas money for the price of gas today.The person that took my original order did apologize, but it took away from my day off, I have more things to do today, I didn't need to be interrupted for this.
Bagels are good and the muffins are out of this world, my favorite is apple cinnamon!!! The service is good and they are taking all the pressure autions to keep everyone healthy.
They partnered with Carnegie Deli. The pastrami and corned beef is killer. Wish the portion was bigger but the raw costs must have gone up? Carnegie Cheesecake is heaven but too small. The coffee is not just regular coffee I saw the roaster. They have real water bagels baked all day, watch them make them through the glass window!!!! Must try this place.
So I saw “Brooklyn” and thought yeah, hipsters, fancy espressos and lattes and clever pastries etc. nope. Here “Brooklyn” refers to Brooklyn of 30 years ago. Therefore, for a very decent plain American coffee and an excellent bagel and cream cheese. Good stuff.
I have been here a several times in the last month (Dec 2021). Very well organized with good solid service with excellent food. Expect to be treated with kindness and YOU do the same. Customer services It is a 2 way street.
First time here 12/27/21. I ordered a everything wheat bagel with scallion and lox cream cheese. They forgot to put red onion in it. While it tasted good it did not look like a bagel made from scratch. Looks like a par baked bagel and perhaps boiled and baked there or 3/4 baked and then finished off in store. Just visiting from out of town. Probably won’t be back.
