Never ever order from this place. I waited over an hour and half for my order and specifically asked for eel sauce and no soy sauce. They gave me 6 packets of soy sauce and no eel sauce and the worse part is absolutely no napkins or utensils. I ended up eating dry sushi, with my hands. I was starving and ending up eating only 3 rolls because they were so dry and totally not worth the money. When I called and asked to speak to the manager he didn’t even address himself he was like “yeah what’s up” and I expressed to him my frustration and he called me was extremely unprofessional. I will never order from here again and highly recommend you not waste your money on a place who does not offer customer service.
If the owner/manager reads this, maybe an allergen menu or item descriptions on the online menu would be very helpful. Several similar food places have markers for dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) to make things easier for staff & let people with those diets know they still have safe options as a potential customer.------------------Pretty bad customer service over the phone. I'm placing a first-time order for delivery, but there are no descriptions or allergen info on many of their menu items, both on their main website and on door dash. I have dietary restrictions, so after trying to search online myself, I went ahead and called in. I had two questions: (1) what are your vegetable yakitoris dressed with, (2) what is the vegetable roll made of. From my experience, some places grill their vegetable yakitoris with sauces, sometimes with a soy base. Soy makes my skin flare up with rashes (sorry if TMI), soooo I definitely wanted to make sure that's not what I was signing up for. Anyway, the man on the phone keeps saying "what, what, I can't hear you." Okay, no problem restaurants get loud. I'm raising my voice more and more (no attitude, just speaking louder), and asking my first question about 4 or 5 times using different key words to see if that helps him make out what I'm saying. To shorten this story, in a 2 minute phone call, I'm given the wrong information (regarding allergies) , told I'm speaking too low when I'm actually raising my voice, and then told that he "doesn't have time to explain the entire menu for me." Y'all, I had 2 questions. On my final question, he refuses to answer, and spends about 30 seconds ranting/explaining why he doesn't have the time. Y'all....in that same amount of time he could have just answered the question. I literally have never had this kind of problem with any other restaurant before. It's not about him not being able to hear me, it's about his attitude and lack of professionalism. I checked the time on my phone...phone call was 2 min with the latter portion being him trying to tell me why he just doesn't have the time. ? I feel like the man really had a long day, but for someone who's worked in service, that's no excuse for residual attitude. I'm just trying to make sure I don't have an allergic reaction.
Insanely good food! I can't remember the last time I went somewhere and everything I ate was a homerun.I cannot recommend this place enough. Funny and creative drink names were really good! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. Try the Takoyaki, try the sushi, get the lemonade, and get the gyoza pan! Everything is amazing.
Food and drinks were awesome! The decorations are well put together and really set an enjoyable mood.
super underrated. my family and i have been coming here for years, the waiters have consistently remembered what we've ordered. really hope this place becomes more popular, they really deserve it. never had a problem with any dishes/staff, everyone is super helpful and friendly. highly recommended!!

I went there for the first time in a long time, but the clerk was kind and fun!I'm Japanese,atmosphere of the izakaya ber&restaurant was fun and I remembered JapanWe drink a lot, so it's a bit disappointing to hear that "Happy hour is gone" but we'll be back again!?
Not what I thought at all. Just didn’t taste good. The fried shrimp was old and chewy the sauce was too liquify and too sweet and too much of it and that was their house special! Kimchee rice not good at all dry tasteless I eat it everywhere nothing was that bad
Sat at the bar catching up the family. Wasn't sure what to order and although a nice guys,, felt the like bartender knew how to entertain regulars but not very good at suggesting their best food or drinks. I took a guess on the drink and food and enjoyed it. Great place fore regulars but don't expect much help from the bartender.
This place is ADORABLE. A hole in the wall WORTH visiting! The food and drinks came out very fast and all the food that arrived was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and will 100% come again!
