What a lovely little surprise my husband and I stumbled upon today. Situated inside of an older shopping center, I was hesitant to even go in but I'm glad we did. We love bagel/deli style restaurants. The place is larger than it looks from the outside. A steady flow of people going in and coming out. The hostess was not very pleasant ot hospitable but the waitress made up for her lack of personality. The decor is a bit old and dated but the place is very clean. The menu is quite large and offers many different items as well ad all of the regular items a typical jewish/NY deli. The portions were large and the prices are very reasonable. The food was quite delicious. The waitress was attentive, friendly and offered suggestions. My husband had the corned beef sandwich which he told me was lean and tasty. I had the Cuban sandwich and was surprised by how much meat was inside of it. Also tried the potato pancakes and the sweet potato fries, which by the way, were huge and you can see that they were cut fresh. The place had a steady flow of happy customers and now they can add two more to the list!
Went to Bagel Tree this morning. Had never been there before. The experience was awful. I ordered a waffle with apple compote and coffee. I took one bite of the waffle and hated it. It had a very dry texture. I told this to the server and asked if he could bring a bagel instead. He told me the waffle was fine. I suggested he taste it. He refused. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. I asked him again for a bagel and he said “I’m not doing nothing”. He then said he was going to charge me for the waffle regardless. I was angry and embarrassed that he would talk to me like that within earshot of other customers and walked out. Then I walked back in and gave a different server $5 for the coffee which was fine. I asked for the owners number and he refused to give it to me. Obviously I’m never going back and with the multitude of bagel places in Delray I would strongly encourage you to choose a different one.
Excellent food, service. Highly recommend their French toast, pancakes and eggs Benedict. Very friendly and accommodate special requests. Need updated decor and seating. Booths would be nice.
I usually start my reviews by stating ,I have no affilation with the Bagel Tree Restaurant in Delray Beach, other than being an all year round customer for 20+ years,new owners and previous owners. In my 20+ years ,I never wrote them a negative review and this is a terrible review. IT'S not about the food,My Mom and I went for lunch yesterday and it was quite crowded. THE hostess who I know now a year never knew her name, tried to sit us near opening of kitchen,me no problem, my Mom preferences away. So I spot a clean table for two though connected to a dirty table. So Mom and I walk to table,mom with walker, me a cane and sit down.I take Moms walker and put it out of other patron's way. Then the hostest,looks like she is a kid, possibly mexican though latin,and at first thought she was joking,but she put her finger up towards my face and just started yelling,then yelling at my Mom the table isn't clean.I was taken aback, I then see one of the owners Manny,who basically my family and friends help keep their doors open during pandemic and he doesn’t say a word actually laughed!! At this point I tell my Mom, my friend and I eat Breakfast here 3x a week and give MANNY AN OWNER $5.00 TIPS,for 17 dollar breakfasts. My Mom and I decided why do you frequent this place, and now they lost our business,and guarantee that turns into 20 then thirty and when all the snowbirds go home they will be begging for business. Though we made up our mind to never go again, and ? really looking back, I kept my mouth shut,knowing the PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD, JUST MY REVIEWS ALONE ARE PRETTY POWEFUL ,THOUGH WORD OF MOUTH ADDED,JUAN AND MANNY you should of backed up your patrons,and remember who helped keep your doors open during pandemic!! GOOD LUCK BAGEL TREE !!
Terrible experience here, very overpriced and what kind of bagel place doesn’t toast their bagels!? Geriatric station lol never going again.
Sat for 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Person who seated us was unpleasant.

I have gone there many times and I think the food is very good. I have read some of the reviews and was puzzled by the comments. the two men who own this restaurant are the new owners. I went to this place years ago and was disgusted with the cleanliness. But it is totally different now. Try it out, you'll be surprised!!
$1.25 a bagel.....you get what you pay for! OK, but not extraordinary. Large variety to choose from.
