I went to 50 Ocean for brunch and had a lovely experience! Heads up, parking on site is valet, or you can pay at a meter near one of the beach access spots (good luck on a busy day, though!). I sat indoors, but the outdoor seating looked great/covered nicely from the sun. I enjoyed that although their brunch menu wasn't huge, it had a lot of variety. Also thought the unlimited bloody Mary bar was a neat addition. Food took a bit to arrive, but that's to be expected when school just let out and it's the first day after a tropical storm and everyone has the same idea!
The view is awesome! The food is amazing! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Every time we eat there we have a fantastic time and have never had a bad meal. We LOVE 50 Ocean?

Our server was Cindy and her knowledge of the menu and specials was very impressive. She took the time to explain offerings and made appropriate suggestions. We loved the food and the view was beautiful. The restaurant is on the second floor above Bostons with an unobstructed view of the ocean! We will definitely return!

The view is what sold us on the venue. We were celebrating a 90th birthday with 20 family/friends. Cindy did an amazing job with our large party. Our food orders were delivered in a timely manor and were delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for our event! Thank you for making this day so special!!
We visited the restaurant with high expectations because of the great view and location. We waited for an hour and we still had no food whatsoever and then once we did receive the lobster and avocado on toast the toast was Burns and the lobster and avocado and salad were very bland. The management came over and didn't even discuss with us on our experience to see how they can rectify the problem they just discounted the meal and sent us on our way. Last time, would never come back but honestly the place next-door looks happening! One table (in pic) next to us wasn’t cleaned for 1.5 hours
Started nicely, then a table of about 15 men were seated nearby (men in their 50s to 70s) yelling, standing up clapping and beyond loud. After about 45 min (& 2 other tables moved away) we spoke with totally ineffectual manager. He didn't say a word to us, just walked away. No offer of a different table, no apology etc. You would think he might have said something. Our server apologized. When we left, what should have been an enjoyable experience, we looked for the manager but he was nowhere to be found. The men were sitting yelling, clapping, cursing etc.The 4 of us will never go back (& it was not our 1st time there). I do believe, at the least, they could have been asked to please be a bit more considerate. Our
Warning! get a reservation !! We were just very lucky there was a no show or we have had to move on. The last time I was here it was exceptional.. this time was a different. They are very helpful with GF options and it's pretty easy to find something you love. I asked for a ginger ale and not sure what I got.. some kind of carbonated water with a cola flavoring? It was drinkable but that's about it. Next appetizer of mixed crab, lobster and shrimp cocktail.. It was all right but they serve the entire thing in and on a glass of sauce.. you have no choice. This selection would have been perfect on a bed of lettuce with a small side of cocktail sauce and maybe a dill sauce.. and let the customer choose. I couldn't finish it -on a side note - she insisted we take it home so she boxed it and grabbed the shrimp with her fingers.. I couldn't believe it. It went in the garbage when I got home. That should never happen on any level of dining :( . The main course was 'Cyndy's Filet' for my friend and the Scallops w/Risotto for me. The Scallops were WONDERFUL. Split in half and made it home without being touched :) ... the steak was different... it was buried in a very heavy sauce that overpowered the flavor of the steak. It was all you could taste and it wasn't very good. My friend had a bite... offered me a bite - we both didn't like. She didn't even box it. Covered it and let them toss it. Who does that on a filet? Anyway - probably won't rush back. The maitre d was so very kind - we had such high hopes! Giving them 3 because they got the Scallops right.
