My husband and I went based on a recommendation and we're so thankful we did! Everything we had was phenomenal! The owner and staff are all amazing and our dining experience was one of the best we've ever had. Appetizers, entrées, dessert and coffee - All were EXCELLENT! Sadly we live in a different part of Florida and were only in Deltona on a short trip but we'll definitely make a point to come back! ❤️
My wife and I ate here Monday night, Memorial Day, May 30, 2022. Most restaurants in DeLand were closed, so we tried Urban Brick. Service was excellent. Stephanie, our young waitress, was very attentive and polite. My wife ordered a meat lovers type calzone. I ordered a cheese and mushroom strombolli off the menu. The restaurant setting was nice enough. Portions were huge. Food came out hot. The place did not smell like your typical Italian restaurant or pizzeria. A bad sign and indication that they don't use enough garlic and other Italian seasonings. The biggest problem was taste. The house salad was delicious, but not so for the rest of the food. It was all rather bland. They do not use a quality mozzerella - no flavor at all. Melty and gooey, but obviously from even the pale color, not high quality - zero taste. The ground meat in the calzone had a funky taste that some would not enjoy. The marinara sauce was thick, but not anything special. Seemed like it just came out of a can of tomato paste. The dough was good though. Can't give this place more than an average rating. They try, but it ain't real Italian. They need to use more garlic and other seasonings to make it smell and taste good. Need to put more effort into the sauce too.
I've been here several times, and every time has been great! I highly recommend the vegan pizza, and the gluten-free crust is really good. I am celiac, so I told my waitress I need everything gluten-free, and they are well informed and let me know their procedures about the gluten-free food they serve.The owner/manager is super friendly and service minded! We were a small group that met outside before we knew the opening hours, and she welcomed us to sit and have a drink until the staff arrived. We appreciate that so much. Thank you for your good work and food :) We'll be back next time we're in DeLand.

We found Urban Brick from a Google search, and thought we'd give it a try. It was a wonderful evening! Food was great, and our server Nick was great! Lately, it seems so many restaurant experiences are average at best, this was a pleasant surprise. Will drive over again in the near future. Highly recommend!
The food was awesome and the service wonderful. We had the Farmers Sald with chicken. The chicken was fresh and flavorful.
Had a girls day and stopped by for some lunch. We each got a half salad and shared their signature Salty and Sweet pizza without prosciutto because we’re vegetarian. It was INCREDIBLE! I have been here before and every time I just love the atmosphere and food. My favorite is to sit outside. You HAVE to try their pear pasta in lemon sauce, so delicious. That is all, 5 stars all around ??????
My boyfriend and I got the Supreme pizza and the place was not busy but it still took like 40 minutes for our pizza and I couldn't even pick it up the bottom was so soggy. The flavor was really good and good ingredients. Service was a solid 3 out of 5. Not impressed. Probably will not return. Very cool atmosphere though
I love urban brick and I love Rose! I really dislike how their hours are not reflective of the service. There have been two events now where I went in at 8:30 (with a 9 closing time) and they would not seat us nor would they let us place a carry out order even though I saw the kitchen preparing other food. One time I was there around closing time and Rose sat us anyway. I wish the other staff was like that! I was a server and know what it’s like to have people come in at closing time. I feel that at 8:30, a carry out order should be accepted.
Great gourmet pizzas. We had the pesto, mushroom and sausage pizza with the Farmers Salad. We have had other pizzas here and they are all excellent!
