Tastes great. Prices are fair for the area.Got a family sized Stromboli and at first glance it looked large enough to feed a family, but only the middle 60% had cheese/fillings while the outsides were a giant block of bread. Also the plastic ware they provided was effectively useless and we had to tear it apart with our hands. In the middle section there was no lack of cheese or toppings, and everything tasted like you would expect from an Italian/New York pizza joint.
I'm not from New York but glad these folks know how to make a great carry-out Calzone way we like it. Lots of crunch and garlic on the outside adding to the flavor on the inside. enjoy it every time i'm passing through the great little town of Deland.
Awesome food and a great staff
As a local I have come to enjoy Tony's. This all changed with this evenings visit. We sat down and there was approximately 10 customers in the business. We were greeted by an unhappy server and took our drink order. There was then an influx of people from a college tour that filled the restaurant, Suddenly it was like we didn't exist and were asked to change tables to accommodate the . We changed tables and gave our order to the server. We never seen her again until I had to literally wave my hands in the air. This was to request another drink because mine had a bug in it. Our salads and bread were tossed on the table and never seen her again. I had to go get my own refills and condiments for the meal There was a real nice waitress who we flagged down a few times who got us boxes and apologized for the other waitress. It was like suddenly the locals didn't matter, just a bad experience overall. Cant say I will return again
Very good pizza very good meatballs subs pies don’t think you can go wrong with anything at this place and it’s really like New York pizza
This is the best pizza and wings experience I have found in DeLand. They are always busy and parking can be a little to figure out at peak times but it’s worth it. Quality NY Pizza, great wings, and they use a high quality ingredients even their Blue Cheese dressing is high quality and a generous potion size. They have other italian fair as well if you are not feeling pizza but that’s my go-to. Only criticisms are they always over estimate the time to pick up, and I like celery and carrots with my wings. They are a true gem of the restaurant community in DeLand, FL.
Great environment. Looks just like you'd expect for a family owned pizza place. Definitely the best in Deland. Plus, they have pizza by the slice, a dieing trend that my friends and I LOVEP.S. try the Stromboli, family sized, delicious and great value for the money. It's huge
The was the best pizza I have had in a long time. I am from Brooklyn NY. I love it and will be going back.Oh and the service there is fantastic as well. Nice clean and respectful place.You have to eat there and enjoy the ?????
Always enjoy our time at Tony’s New York Pizza! Great place to hang out with friends and family . Great pizza and wings. great atmosphere. And servers are all wonderful. Between four of us we split a large pizza two toppings, and side salads with yummy wings! Great place to be with friends and family after a hard day at the Mardi-Gras parade
We decided to stop by this local restaurant on a whim after touring the Stetson Mansion. BEST IMPULSIVE decision! Everyone loved their meal, each insisted his/hers was the best! Greek Salad, white pizza and sausage sub!
