Went for burger night and took meals out to go. Ordered 2 burgers (well done), one with batter fried onion rings and one with French fries. Added cheese on both and grilled onions (requested them cooked well).Got them home and one burger was raw inside, and both burgers had raw onion rings on them and not cooked well. Both burgers had French fries instead of one with battered fried onion rings. We were charged an up charge for battered onion rings but did not get them.Very disappointed in the server who took our order and whomever cooked the burgers. One of the burgers was not eaten because it was raw inside.Horrible communication skills. Won’t go back again and wouldn’t recommend them.

Lunch was good and plentiful, and well priced. Definitely a locals hangout.

Great atmosphere, good food and service and reasonable prices. Love the place.

Love the restaurant Wed paste is great we love the restaurant

Very nice lunch not really busy but very short on waitstaff.

I was anxious to try DeLand Social (new restaurant down the street) however, it was closed because of a family emergency when we arrived.Sparrow's Grille was a nice surprise to the last minute plan changes. There is plenty of parking. The entrance is handicap accessible along with the interior of the restaurant. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken. The menu is two-sided. Perhaps I missed it but I did not see where one side was for lunch only and the other side for dinner only. I tried to order from the entree section and was told that I could only order from the other side of the menu. Both sides of the menu have plenty of options to choose from including vegetarian items. The food came out quickly, looked beautiful, and tasted great. I wasn't quite ready for the experience to be over yet so we decided to order dessert. We ordered the key lime pie which was beautifully presented. It came out on a homemade whipped cream type base that was phenomenal. Just dipping the strawberries in there would have been a perfect dessert. The key lime pie itself was very well done. The restaurant itself is clean, organized, and has a very nice vibe with large windows that overlook the golf course. I would definitely go back.Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Vibe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were hankering for something new so… we tried Deland Social but they were opening at 3 today.?.So we happed upon Sparrow’s Grille…. WOW!!! They did not disappoint. The signage could be better as we were not sure we were in the right place. Parking is mostly shaded and reminded me of a State Park. Was not busy but had a nice atmosphere. We sat by the window which does let some heat in if you are sensitive to that.I ordered the hamburger and my wife ordered the Cuban. D lish us.The Cuban was not just cold cuts made into a sandwich. Pickles thick sliced. You tasted everything. Very god.The hamburger was cooked as I requested, medium well, and server on a toasted bun with lettuce, Tomato, and sweet onion. Very good as well. With the scenery and great food, definitely recommend.

We love this place and the staff. The new menu is wonderful. Pasta night is so great! The chefs come out and makes the food and is patient and kind with us as we make our selection. We love brunch as well. Sitting outside is great and it's covered so you're safe when it's raining as well. The staff is friendly and accommodating and so helpful even with the fact that we bring 2 crazy kids with us.

Amazing food and service

A really good place to have a date night. Service was great a long with the food.
