Ordered a chicken salad...$11 and got a handful of lettuce, 1/2 of a rubbery chicken breast and a few stale croutons...
Met up with some friends. We've driven past this place a million times and never even noticed it. You order at the counter and sit down, and they bring it out. Note that most of the seating is outside, but it's covered and there are fans. Luckily it was also breeze so we weren't too hot. I had boneless wings with bbq sauce and french fries. Others had regular wings with various sauces (there are dozens). REALLY good food, and huge portions. Not much in the way of ambiance, but who cares. I'm going back.
I have eaten here several times, usually take out. I like most of the food - good to very good, especially the wings. Tonight I wanted wings so I called the restaurant at about 7:30. They answered and quickly put me on hold, which is not overly abnormal for them. However, I sat on hold for 10 minutes before they hung up on me. I called back and it rang and rang until I got the answering machine. Tried again, same thing. Good for them that they are busy, but leaving me on hold for 10 minutes and then hanging up on me was not good. Perhaps if they are so busy, they should put a message on the phone that they are currently not accepting phone orders because they are too busy. Or maybe they are just understaffed? Disappointing. There are other options. Bad customer service can cost a place. Based on my cumulative experience (food, service, etc.), I'd give it a 3....4 if I just focused on food (nothing fancy, but good and reasonably priced).
No flavor on top of immediate stomach pain that left me crying all the way from DeLand back home to eustis. Been vomiting and diarrhea since. Gotta love the customer service though very very rude bitter woman. My boyfriend got a burger that he said tasted like water that left him with diarrhea and I got cheese fries. Can't forget the consumer notice sign right above the ordering counter. Was rushed to get out of my chair because woman who took our order needed to use it. If I could leave ZERO stars I would.
I’d ordered from them before and when I tried to order something the same way I had before the young lady that answered the phone got very frustrated with me, set the phone down and complained about me to a coworker. When she picked the phone back up she was snippy and rude.. I changed my order to make it easy and apologized for the confusion. My son picked the order up and there were 2 items that I’d taken off my order and I was charged for it. On top of all that some of the food was cold. Not good business.
Chicken is the best around. I will order two orders of 2 lb of chicken boneless twice a week. Rachel and her staff are the best, they care and completely professional!

Wings were pretty good. Place is run down and could really use some TLC.Beer was cold. They do serve in a chilled glass.
...I've eaten WINGS all over this Great Country; and, some prepared from Mess Daddy's in IRQ & AFG! Admittedly a little rough aruond the edges, but it's Good Ole Gramma/Big Sis Home-cooking! Everything is good, but top off those AWESUM Wings with Rachel's "To Die For" Onion Rings! Amazing! I'm a local--now--so I come frequently!
