Ordered 1/2 dark meat chicken and hand battered onion rings. You should be ashamed!!!Onion rings are frozen and the oil wasn't hot enough. It is a grease abomination. There is know way the cook didn't know this is wrong. The BBQ chicken is NOT BBQED. It's a store brand rotisserie chicken thrown on a hot top. Owners I suggest you manage your store during a difficult time. This is definitely not an employee issue...it's management not taking responsibility during a difficult time.
This is not BBQ. This place doesn't even serve brisket how it should be served. Ordered brisket, they brought pulled meat... I asked what is this? She said the brisket.Not certain how they have so many good reviews saying how the food has so much flavor... It has no flavor, bbq was bad, pulled pork sandwich was bad, sausages were also bad...We're from Texas, we know good BBQ restaurants and good brisket. This place is FAR from it.Want to try good BBQ? Always stop when I'm in Deland, love their bbq sauces, and that brisket is soooo delicious, be sure to order the corn fritters and baked beans, mac n cheese. Put this place on ur must stops. God bless your business
Really good BBQ. Great service! Amazing ribs. My favorite is the sliced turkey. So good! And green beans and collard greens. And really cute inside! Highly recommend!
Eat here every time when in DeLand. Pulled pork and all sides are great. Fried okra and sweet potato casserole are unbelievable!
This place is INCREDIBLE. Even my picky eater 9yr old ate until he was stuffed. Delicious food, friendly service. Go check them out!!
The pulled pork and chicken was great. Do not order onion rings they were over cooked and not much flavor. Even when they replaced burnt onion rings they were still some of the poorest I have tasted.
Food is always good excellent. Great, friendly, wait staff! Can't wait to get back in the area to go there again.

This was such a wonderful surprize to find! After trying several Barbeque restaurants in several cities we found Porkies. It is the best pulled pork in north central Florida, I think. Don't waste your time anywhere else. And make sure you get the collards. They're better than my old country momma made.
