This is an updated review from another posted preCOVID.The service and food were great. My last post mentioned the condition of the restaurant interior. Ceilings and carpet have since been replaced. ?The 4 ⭐️ is due to the dirty front doors. Mind you the glass was mostly clean but the door facings and surrounding hand areas were yucky. I realize it gets busy and that may interfere with hands to clean, but the residual smears on the hardware appeared quite dated. Thanks for a good meal.

As much as I can say I love the food here, it is never consistent. I feel that if I am going to go to work every day to earn the money that I spend, I should GET WHAT I ORDERED, NOT WHAT THEY WANT ME TO HAVE! If you can't do it right, DONT EXPECT PAYMENT. I wouldn't pay my plumber to cut my pipe and flood my house, so I refuse to pay for food I didn't order! I am very knowledgeable in food service and I know that paying a little bit of attention to your customers, means you have happy customers! I have paid for enough meals that I didn't eat from here and I won't do it any more!

Took my daughter and I out for a Saturday brunch.... after waiting 43 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge us after placing our order, this is with flagging her down, our food surely arrives within a minute..... one plate is piping hot.... the other might as well come stright from the refrigerator pancakes included... we split the meal that was warm, the restaurant did comp the meal that came cold.

Perkins was a great place. Easily seated a family of 8. Large menu. Various items to select from. Everything was excellent and prepared to expectations. Prices were fair. Friendly host , good environment. Location was good as well.

This was my first visit at this location. Staff was very warm and welcoming. The waitress was warm, fun, and full of smiles and laughs. The food was delicious and fresh. I will be returning for another wonderful experience.

Food was delicious, gave name to host who seated everyone else but us--told he forgot/overlooked us. Phone rang for ten minutes with no one answering, could hear thru out seating area, another patron had meltdown regarding phone. Very busy in restaurant and staff short handed. Host wore many hats including seating, cashier, answering phone, clearing tables, etc. Only suggestion get answering machine on fourth ring to pick up when busy, very distracting.

Visiting from Gainesville Florida area, we went to The DeLand location last night, The hostess was amazing and friendly the food was very good, but I have never in my life had such a bad server! She was very slow not friendly at all and she actually seemed zoomed out or on drugs or something ! I ordered a Salad with No cheese( I’m allergic) she seemed to write it down, but my salad came with lots of cheese, it was fixed no problem, then I ask for a sprite she brought me a coke! We ordered muffins with our meal, white toast was brought with our food, we ask for the muffins and a box of 6 blueberries muffins we’re brought to our table.I’m an over tipper (20 to 50%) I’ve never left such a small tip! I know it a hard time to find employees but this service was unacceptable.

Amazing service and food. Andy is awesome too!!!!

Usually a good meal. Yesterday, not so much. Management is lacking. You really shouldn't have to ask for things 4 or 5 times on very simple orders.. Hopefully they get it together soon.

Our server was very sweet. The waffles and french toast were so light and flavorful, the bacon was crisp but not overdone and my legs over easy for done just right. Miss having one in Daytona Beach!
