I met a friend for lunch at Moondance on a Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, they were out of oysters, which is why we went there.They have them for .60 on Thursdays so we were a day late to catch that deal or any at all.They were also out of lemonade, which my friend drinks, so that was a bust too.They did have peel and eat shrimp on special for $6.00 a pound though, so we ordered that and some seafood spring rolls, the rolls are definitely worth ordering IMO.So all in all I gave this establishment 4 stars because the waitstaff was very pleasant and attentive.I plan to go back again on a Thursday to cash in on the 60 cent oyster deal too!
First time visiting. I was amazed by the pictures online of the place due to the Being a tree lover. So I visited around 1 today. Walked in w family stood by the the bar and waitress literally ignored we were standing not knowing if we should sit or even wait to be greeted. So I asked and was told to sit anywhere. We took the outside tables area. When we stepped outside another waitress past us by and didn’t even say a word to us. All tables were dirty as if no one even cleaned up after . So I asked a a couple for some napkins so we can clean it up. We sat and waited and waited So I took it upon myself to go to the bar and ask for Menus. Shortly after the first waitress came by to ask if wanted any drinks and I SAID we didn’t get any.drink menus. So again we waited for them . Then we decided to order and asked for anything that was quickly done while waiting for the food to bring out because we were hungry and she was nice enough to bring us crackers with a fish dip, which was nice of her. Over all the Food was Super !! But the customer service sucked .one more thing the outside could be better maintained Especially if they want to promote Wedding venues.
This is essentially a bar. The food was not good. My friend took me there for my Birthday and I am giving it one star only because the company was fantastic and the servers were sweet but the food was basically frozen food you got at Walmart. There was no flavor to it at all & it was super greasy!! We had to wait a long time meanwhile we were the only people in the dining area. It seamed they had take out orders at the bar. On the other hand, I enjoyed the extra time we had so my friend and I could catch up and talk.
We had a wonderful evening at Moondancers, back patio area is so pretty and peaceful. Our food was very good, service was fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
Lobster Dinner Special on Sunday. As always the food was delicious the atmosphere at Moondancers is absolutely beautiful. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and welcoming. Monday and Thursday they have 50 cent Oyster and everytime we get the Oysters they are absolutely perfect.
This place is absolutely wonderful. Best staffing around and the food is even better. Yes they cook out of a food truck but everything is fresh and made to order. It takes time for good food. I believe anyone calling the place "garbage" or "dumpster fire" should stay home and cook their own dinner. I highly recommend!!!
Lovely and unexpected gem. Beautiful patio out back. Service was terrific. Thank you Jersey for your pleasant demeanor and service. Very clean. I have told everyone I know about MoonDancers Food was delicious and plentiful. Yum.?
What a mess…The waitress left us waiting to order for ages. The food was mediocre at best and is made in a food truck. This is NOT a restaurant, so keep that in mind. It’s a bar with a food truck. There were six of us and each meal came out 5-10 minutes apart, so by the time the last two meals came, the rest of us were finished eating. If we had waited, our food would have been ice cold. Half the items on the menu were not available, including iced tea. Apparently they were out of teabags…It’s impossible to tell who works there and who doesn’t, especially because the waitress took her order on her cell phone, so we couldn’t even find someone to ask when we had waited for someone to take our order. Toward the end of the meal, we saw lobster going by our table and asked the waitress because lobster wasn’t on the menu. She explained it was a special and was listed on the board outside. It would have been nice if she had mentioned it. The calamari and shrimp were pretty good and we liked sitting under the trees, but we will definitely not be coming back.
We were essentially ignored until we asked for someone to take our drink order. Then they ignored us for another long period until we asked to order. One order up but not the nachos. The margaritas didn't taste very good either and we asked for new ones which we received but was not done well again. We aósked for combination beef and chicken nachos but only got beef. The bill was pretty high. The oysters were on special Monday but not anything special and rather small. The outdoor atmosphere was good but they were doing a banquet and normal customer services too. They obviously needed more help. The three of us were not really impressed. I'll probably go again in case it was an off evening. Very disappointing.
Beautiful outside patio seating and a good meal at an affordable price. There can be quite a wait during peak times and the daily special being offered, but the wait staff is friendly and keeps your glasses filled.Something to note....during dusk hours, the mosquitoes can be a bit of a nuisance so it is advisable that you apply a spray or wear appropriate clothing.
