Stopped in for lunch today while visiting DeLand. The staff were very friendly and the sandwiches were amazing. We had the Philly cheese steak, turkey panini, the Cuban, and the pastrami sandwich. All were equally amazing. Must try if you are in DeLand.
Very small place, very large sammich! Very good also. Just wish there were more seating, unfortunately it was rather cold out so the outdoor seating wasn't comfortable. We'll be back - on a warmer day.
Manzano's subs are probably the best I have ever had since moving to Florida. I grew up in Jersey and this is the closest I have ever had to the subs I grew up with. The meat quantity is more than any other sub place, the half sub is equivalent to most places whole subs, the bread is out of this world, and the toppings are all sliced thin so they don't overwhelm the rest of the sub. I only ordered a half of sub and only ate half of that half since it's so filling. I called ahead and yes, we waited for 20 minutes on line to pick up and pay "SO WORTH IT".
New York style deli and sandwich shop. A bit pricey but portions are large and can easily be split between 2 people. Delicious fresh baked bread, deli meats and fresh ingredients plus lots of sandwich choices either hot or cold.
The best sandwich from DeLand. These sandwiches are on some very fresh bread and stacked full of meats and veggies. Every sandwich on the menu is fantastic. The only negative I have with this place is they close too soon!
Delicious. My only complaint is they're closed on Mondays. Makes JJs look like its ran by children.
The best subs we have ever had. Order the way they serve it on the board and don't change a thing. They are on point! Don't expect the chick filet type service, but they are cool peep. They listen to some heavy rock n roll just so you know..
