The food if ok, it's not authentic Mexican food, but if you're not Mexican sure you will love it, they don't have any salsa other than chips salsa.They don't have corn tortillas and their soups are just to plain and far from authentic.Food was out quick but had to wait more than 15 minutes for a refill. Over all one star is more than enough. Would be nice if they cater more to the local Mexican community looking for Mexican food.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the DeLand area. Helpings are plentiful and hot and excellent taste. Waiter/Waitresses are pleasant, helpful and serve you drinks, meals in a timely manner. Very clean establishment.
I have been to many Mexican restaurants and this is my favorite in Deland, Florida. Really impressed with their décor with their colorful furniture and decorations. Their menu and prices are reasonable and lower and the amount of food arriving at my table was more than ample. Taco Tuesday is a must to enjoy! Thanks, keep it up!
This is pretty amazing! Having grown up with authentic Mexican cuisine, I loved it. I would definitely ask for extra cheese on some things, though. Otherwise, great food and ambiance .
Great food and great atmosphere. The menu is a little confusing but the prices are all wonderful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. They have a lot of traditional inspired meals, more than some other Mexican restaurants I've been to.
Very tasty dishes! Popular Mexican restaurant in Deland, always lots of cars in the parking lot. Generous portions. We regularly order shrimp dishes and the shrimp are a good size and there are plenty of them. Good queso dip and salsa. Would definitely recommend!
Valentines Day and my husband and I decided to try Garcia's for the first time. The decor of the restaurant inside is very festive. The meat in the beef enchilada dinner was overly salty. Aside from that, the taste of the food was very bland, from the side of very chunky guacamole, to the boring salsa. Not one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area.
Amazing real Mexican food! Home made chips fresh salsa to start, tortilla soup and amazing fajitas, great place to eat. Service was also quick and friendly. Very much recommended
First time at Garcia's. The staff, service and food was great. We had a house fajita which was more than enough for my husband and i to share. We will definitely come again. Highly recommend!
Not great, but much better than most Mexican fare. Burritos are massive, Fajitas flavorful, but their Crab and Shrimp Burritto in a Salsa lacked Shrimp (1 in first half, 3 in the other) and the red base didn't compliment the seafood.
