Went on Sunday for lunch. Worst experience ever and not just mine. There were 3 employees running drive thru and in store, they were completely overwhelmed, NOT THERE FAULT!!!. This was a poor management problem!!! We waited for 20+ mins for a small order, there were others that had been there for 30 mins. They closed the lobby, which was a huge loss for the restaurant, they turned many back. The employees were about to all quit so, I get they did what they had to do. When I got my food 1 employee had already left, which left only 2 employees. I will try again soon and change my review accordingly.
This is probably the slowest fast food place I’ve ever been to in my life. No matter what time if day you go there, no matter how small of an order you have, you will be waiting 15-20 minutes every time.
This location needs to close down. It looks like the owners are already halfway there as it's old, worn, understaffed, and the food is horrible as a new employee prepared mine. I watched as one of the employees kept giving him half-hearted directions on how to make the sandwiches. It may have been his first day on the job. I know my sandwich didn't look edible after he got through with it. They only had 3 people on duty so you know the drive-through line was long as service was so slow. People in line ahead of me, in the dining area, kept leaving as they gave up after the long wait. The old building has seen better days and apparently, the owners have no intention of maintenance or any upgrades. One side was shut down, old worn furniture, missing patio furniture in the exterior seating area, parking lot broken up and just nasty. You've been warned. Stay away.
There is only "ONE" other customer, sitting in the dining room, and two cars in the drive thru, but it still took more than 10 minutes to get my order. From the time I walked in the door, it was like I was an inconvenience, or a afterthought.No biggie... I WON'T be back!!!
By far the worst fast food place in the U.S. I travel a lot and my favorite lunch stop on the road is Burger King but after experiences at this one, I will probably switch to Wendys. Pull up to the order kiosk and hear "there will be a 5 minute wait" odd but I wait but for 8 minutes with cars behind me going around to place their orders at the pay/delivery window. Okay, I'll try that. 10 minutes later,no movement in the line. Off to Wendys. Whoever owns this unit should sell it or operate it like a business. Any chance BK corporate knows the brand is being hurt by idiots like this?
To begin, I'll say they were doing ok for what they had to work with. There was only 3 people working at about 5pm. We went through the drive-thru, were asked to pull up, and waited almost 25 minutes to get 1 whopper, 1 Ch'King, 2 double cheeseburgers, 3 fries, 1 onion rings, 2 sprites, and 1 coke. The fries and onion rings were completely cold. The chicken was not spicy and did not have onions on it...and I took it back in (waited another 13 minutes to ask for the correct sandwich)...just for them to try an put hot sauce an onions on the same hard, dry sandwich. Í asked for a fresh sandwich, which I did get another 11 minutes later. (That one was delicious though!!) But everyone else was done and ready to go before I even started...an my onion rings were super cool, hard, an nasty by then.But they were trying. (One seemed really new an more interested in their phone, an none had a real sense of urgency to get people's food to them while it was still warm though)
Sometimes good but most times not so much. 85% of the time your order will be messed up and they DO NOT like you to complain about it. Major attitudes.
Everytime we go to this BK....something is wrong....doesn't understand the concept of change, not a young adult either. I tried to give her a penny on$.86 cents she looked at me foriegn and said it is 86 not 1. I looked at her took my 14 cents change and said thanks, it would have been 15 !! They packed 8 sandwiches 4 fries and 2, 8 piece nuggets in one bag...Took pics. Whole bag was split down the side .....that was one visit...never fails everytime it is something. This time was we don't have beef. So we got 4 chicken sandwiches...no offers or apologies for anything,we also got 2 small fries were very cold, hard could tell they were old.
Don't go here! People working drive through are rude and worthless and mess up every order. Tried to rush me through the order the whole time so they can get back to their phones. Restaurant is disgusting inside and out and looks abandoned.They shold do Deland a favor and close down.
Be better if was piping hot. The fries are nothing to write home about.
