This IS NOT about the quality of the food IT IS about customer service. Last night Saturday 4/30/22 I started calling Bronx Pizza at 8:22, I called 24 times between 8:22 and 8:35 only to get a busy signal every time, I was psycho dialing trying to get passed the busy signal and place an order for pick up they close at 9:00 on Saturday I’m trying to feed six people. When I could not get through on the phone at 8:35 I jumped in my vehicle and drove to Bronx Pizza, on the way there I kept think how busy they must be for the phone to be busy like that not to mention wondering how a business that counts on the phone for business even has a busy signal in the 21st century. I arrived at 8:43, I pulled up in front of the business and could see two young females behind the counter leaning and chatting it up and a young man sweeping the floor moving in slow motion, not a vehicle or a customer anywhere to be seen. I got out of my vehicle and as I was walking to the front door the young man seemed to find pleasure in taking the five steps to the door and locking me out 17 minutes before closing time, I looked through the window and shrugged my shoulders and they ignored me. When I went back to the vehicle I picked up the phone and called Bronx again while I am looking at the three employees through the window doing much of nothing and the phone was busy again, 17 minutes before closing. Fortunately for me I shot down to Anthony’s Pizza they also close at 9:00, arrived at 8:51 and they were more than willing to help.Won’t happen again.
That place has new owners. No way in hell would that occur if the original owner, Tony was still in charge. Fabulous food, don't know about the present owner or employees. Miss you Tony.
Quite disappointing… we came here a week ago to dine outdoors and food was good (cheese pizza, Hawaiian pizza, caprese sub? And garlic knots), service was ok, surprising that there was only 1 server while there were 5+ workers inside. We were happy with the food, enough to go back again. A week later, we decide to order take out…Cheese pizza was greasy and crust was stale and hard. Hawaiian pizza was greasy with barely any toppings (maybe 1 pineapple chunk and 1 piece of ham on each slice) and crust was stale and hard. I am from Brooklyn and have been eating thin crust pizza my whole life, thin crust pizza does not have hard dry crust like this.Chicken parm was awful. Pasta was over cooked, sauce was bland, chicken was dry, tough and stale as if it was freezer burnt. Garlic knots were tiny, under-proofed, under cooked, raw, COVERED in dried parsley flakes. It was pathetic how small they were. Caprese sub had 3 x quarter pieces of mozzarella cheese with dried parsley flakes. Dried Parsley flakes are for cooking, not garnishing. Fresh parsley is for garnishing. Caprese uses basil, not parsley by the way. It should have been omitted.If you want a Cesar salad with romaine lettuce, croutons and store bought cheap Caesar dressing, that’s exactly what you will get.Needless to say, we were disappointed and are sad to say we will not be coming back.
I've been getting food from this place for a few years. The food has greatly improved under the new owners. The cheese pizza with eggplant toping is delicious. My husband loves the chicken wings which are fresh, not frozen. The service is also much quicker under the new owners because they have more help. I will be back for sure.
Thia place is fantastic! Grabbed food from here last night (Friday) and let me just say that the pizza is by far the best I've had. Ordered an Italian sub and whoa!!!! The dressing they use in it... Best Sub Ever!. Was able to talk with the new owner briefly. He is young, but a great guy and passionate about serving quity food and customer service. Needless to say, I will be back, and trust me, you need to come try this place!!!
As an employee who's only worked there for almost two months I can say that going into work is the best time of my day. Although I've never met the old owners, I can say with whole-hearted honestly my bosses are the sweetest and most welcoming people. They treat every employee like family and have always made me feel safe and comfortable. it's a pleasure to work for these two!
Let me just start by saying my wife & I love to cook so dining anywhere other than home is a rarity ! I dined in about a week ago after work by myself to try this place out after seeing it was the closest food establishment to my work site. I met the owner. He said he was a new owner and everyone in there looked pretty young so I was a bit hesitant but let me tell you their food did not disappoint!!! I my wife & I had carry out twice since then & I’ll be back again this weekend for more. We drive from Samsula because it’s worth it so don’t miss out !
First let me start by saying YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE…. the staff is one of the best, an fastest teams I’ve seen. Not to mention they are some of the nicest people. Even with the speed they work at the food is to die for. My mouth was watering waiting on the food, with all the great smells flying around. Before I knew it the yummy greatness was before me and my belly was more then happy. The garlic knots where baked just right, still hot and soft, with just enough oil and garlic. The pizza sauced to perfection with just the right a mount of cheese. PS the tiramisu will put everything over the top just sayin it’s the best in town.
Really love this place. I like to go here because it is the best pizza in town. Recently with the new staff, the pizza has not been the same. The pizza does not seem nice and crispy and the cheese does not seem like it is cooked all the way. Really hoping the new staff can step it up as I have been disappointed for the past few weeks by the product.
I'm one of the newest employees of Bronx pizza the first day I walked in I instantly felt like I was at home the owner is so freaking nice he made me feel like im part of a family I wake up everyday happy that I get to walk into a place like this and I get to be around awesome people our communication is on point the pies are excellent and I love it there's no where else I'd rather work Bryan and Jessica make this place feel like im going to Disney on a good day yes I have my moments where I wish what I made looked a bit better but I'm human we all make mistakes. Like I have an appearance that can make people uncomfortable but they say don't judge a book by its cover right? So try my food and judge me on that I have the best job ever and the best bosses a guy could ask for
