If I could give less stars I would. This is the second time ordering from Umberto’s. I ordered through Uber Eats. First time it came late and cold and not able to eat. Okay, maybe Uber problem. Give them another chance, same thing even worse. However, this time I called to let Umberto’s know. Well, the unexpected happened, they could care less and hung up. So, is the story of our Country going bad. Never will I order a $30 pizza from Umberto’s and if your smart you shouldn’t either.Donny V
Moved to Florida two years ago. Have been searching for real pizza. Umberto's on Deerfield Beach is the closest thing I've been able to find in the Boca area.
Several friends told me Umberto's pizza was awesome so I am not sure why it has taken me so long to get here. I inquired about which slice was their best seller & was informed it was Grandma's Square. It was delicious ! Excited to try there other pizzas. They have indoor and outdoor seating & are right across from the beach. Highly recommend !
It says they're the same Umbertos from on Long Island, but I don't see how. Different menu, different pizzas, different set-up.. The employees weren't very friendly. I'm not even sure the guy to took my order had a pulse. It broke my heart, I was so thrilled - Umbertos by the Smith Haven Mall was one of my favorite pizza places when I lived on Long Island. There are other pizza places more Umbertos-like than this "Umbertos". That all being said, the pizza was meh, the Godfather sandwich was delicious.Update: Dear Florida Umberto's, I, like you claim for yourself, am also from New York but have lived in Florida for 12 years. Hence my excitement and eventual disappointment. I don't see how my original review was any more insulting than the experience I had at your place of business and it doesn't come close to the ridiculous response I received from you. I gave 3 stars originally, which I thought was fair given the customer service and the food (I didn't include my disappointment in the 3-star assessment since I am aware that is a personal thing) but I am dropping it down to 1 star now. Honestly, who makes the effort to reach out to a customer who gave you an average and honest review just to be so bigoted and nasty a week later???
Tried Umberto's for lunch and are glad we did. Well made, choice of many toppings. We opted for mushrooms and sausage. Across from beach. Friendly service. Some outdoor seating.
Oh man I wish I give 5 stars , but the guy who picked up the phone and recibe me at the store for the pizza was apathetic, he is young and I understand but really not warm and charm for a business actitud , and the other thing OH MAN , the sauce was salty , I mean salty salty salty very difficult to pass . Probably just not the best experience , and I will try again an other day , give it an other shot and I hope to change this true review

This is a total tourist trap. $18 for a 10 inch pizza with no toppings? The gluten-free option taste like cardboard. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else not on the beach!
