I visited on June 11, 2022. The service was slower, but okay. The food was fine, but nothing special. The price was out of this world! For (3) tacos it cost more than $18, and that was with a kid's beverage to save $. An extra taco was almost $5! They even wanted to charge me for a teaspoon of salsa, but I think they felt bad for me so it was free. I never imagined it was going to be this pricy. I almost walked out, but I waited long enough and placed a full order so I begrudgingly paid and ate. Sky high prices for mediocre food and get you in get you out type of servicd. In short, the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.UPDATEA manager named Tom called me today when I asked for a call back about the bill. He explained all the mitigating factors that have lead this price point (i.e.: inflation, supply chain, etc.). It was actually very informative. I really felt listened to and hear and he helped me out. I will revisit, but maybe go when there is a select deal, like on a Taco Tuesday. This counts for alot in my book. My advice, visit this restaurant but go when they are running a special. It was originally 2 of 5 stars, but Tom's consideration fixed my issue and upped it to 4 of 5 stars.
I love their beef flautas. Just 1 try, you would order this everytime.????3 yrs later this is an undate. We are in the year 2022 .Tijuana flats has disappointed me. I ask for certain toppings, never got it. It look like they throw my food in the box. I like the undate of the restaurant, but it seems like they downgraded on the food and the service, very displeasing. ?
Way overpriced paid for a mega double meat and there wasn't even enough for 1 portion. I could have gotten more food for less money at Chipotle!
I have been going to Tijuana flats since 2007 and have gone to different locations this location has been a challenge I always TRY To say something positive about a business. this place I will not return to I've been coming here since 2015 so today I had a salad as usual the difference being that it's no longer served in a wheat bowl nobody said anything even during the order it was plain salad with no Jalapenos which is offered as a side now the blacken chicken was overcooked so they was tough to eat. I mean not worth the money. This was the last straw there are too many Mexican restaurants in this area that said GOODBYE!
Steak chimichanga doesn’t come with rice or beans or salsa it looked like a da’’m burrito instead, their response was that only chicken chimichanga comes with everything, it makes no sense! Never coming back
Fast service good good love sauce bar
Cool looking place - good customer service - I'm addicted to the chicken burritos w refried beans - good portion - reasonable price.
Great food lots of different sauces
I order from here every couple of weeks. I love the food.I ordered a salad for pickup as I normally do. They have a habit of forgetting the dressings for their salads, so I grabbed the bag and when I got to my car, I checked to make sure that the beans and dressing were present. There wasn't any dressing. I went back in and told the woman working. The woman seemed very annoyed and searched my bag to make sure I wasn't scamming them out of a dressing. I paid for 2 and she eventually brought me one. I didn't feel like arguing with her about this as she was clearly already not having a great day.I don't know if Tijuana Flats no longer has the chip bowl or if they were just out of them on this occasion but the salad also didn't come in the chip bowl that it normally does.In general, this meal was a let down, but overall, the Tijuana Flats company has great food.
I wish I could give this restaurant 0 Stars. Your chimichangas should be called quesadillas instead. What an embarrassment. Next time, I will just go to Chipotle and have a burrito. Thanks for nothing.
