Happy hour weekdays, 4-7? Drinks half price! Very limited menu. There isn't any chips and salsa or other munchies offered.
Do yourself a favor and order the fish tacos...you're welcome. We had the opportunity to have meals at this restaurant at different times of the day and everything was so good!
The bar is nice and has a wonderful location. Great view of the beach and pier. Indoor and outdoor dining and drinks. My issue was the bartender said they could make a painkiller drink but had no idea how to make it. You will need to stick to the drinks listed on the menu.
Great Location . Good Food . The sad thing is the how the service works . Much of the time you get different servers . One person takes your order another brings the drinks another brings the food and quickly leave before you can figure out if you are missing anything or if your order is correct. It takes forever to pay your bill. The payment system is terrible . Not sure why they don't have the hand held payment machines . The servers have to walk behind the bar and get in line behind the other servers to process the bill and then come back to get your credit card and then go back again . You can see the servers are trying but they are all over the place taking care of things that make no sense. While leaving the customers trying to get someones attention . Many times you can't even see your server because they are behind a service corner where you can't see them and they can't see you . It seems they like hanging out there . It's a shame because this is such a great location and the people are really nice. If one server took care of the table from start to finish and could easily process your payment I believe it would be a huge improvement. I hope the management reads this review and changes the way they do things . We would like to come here more often but it could be so much better.
I don't really leave reviews but this one I had to as it was the worst food I have ever had and I'm not exaggerating. I ordered their most expensive item on the menu which was a "NY Strip" and asked for medium temp. First, the steak was smothered in oily mushrooms and onions. I set it all aside to get to the steak and it had a grayish pale brown color. It had some grilled marks, but it wasn’t grilled. I cut into it and it was super tough meat. I was looking for a spec of pink, but this was actually beyond well done many times over. I took a bite, and it was super tough and was tasteless. This thing was as tough as a shoe sole and tasted like one too.I ordered the steak before them closing the kitchen, so I’m not sure if they had a previous steak laying around they had previously cooked and they just reheated it as it wasn’t burned on the outside to justify such dry and hard meat. It certainly wasn’t freshly cooked meat, thus why they flooded it with their shrooms and onion disaster to mask another disaster. Reminded me of the show Kitchen Nightmares by Ramsey!Just to emphasize how bad it was, I had a super light breakfast and had not eaten all day so I was super hungry and looking forward to dinner. This was so awful, that even though I tried to chew down some food to cease my hunger, it was so gross that I had to stop after a few bites into it. I couldn’t even if I tried to force myself.To put the nail in the coffin, I ordered a salad for a relative and they didn’t finish their salad either; while I LOVE dessert, the one I ordered was passable but I couldn’t finish it. Service was poor and didn’t get attended to until I had to ask for help after having waited a good chunk of time even though staff members kept walking by and I made eye contact to let them know I needed assistance.Perhaps this was a fluke, and the cook just put things in the microwave to get out of there but this was just awful and disappointing on so many levels. Never coming here again!
Went to this place for 2 mojitos, went to bar area per hostess which was very nice, bartender saw us did not acknowledged us at all even though he saw us, after 10 mins waiting patiently came back and said "I will be right with you all", still waited 5 more minutes, then he came back we asked for the mojitos then he said"i can't make them right now, I have other people waiting if you all can wait a few more minutes I can but not right now". And, I ask myself what kind of business would said something like that to a paying customer. Looking at the majority of the clientele here, makes me wonder was I not light enough to make the clientele list to be served hered!!
Great ambiance for people watching and water viewing. Food and service were less than average. Grouper is worth ordering, was perfectly cooked in an exceptional sauce, but the calamari was tasteless, overcooked and had too much old dried fried batter on it. Shared our disappointment with the waiter and he could have cared less. Would return for the views and maybe just for a drink. Has live music which is a nice touch, but would have enjoyed better food and much better service.
OK I see this place has a lot off 5 star reviews so all I can say is stay away from then pancakes. I tried the Vegan oatmeal pancakes and I don’t think they were cooked all the way through or maybe that’s just what Vegan oatmeal pancakes are supposed to taste like. So They were nice enough to swap for regular pancakes and they were thick and tasted like baking soda. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict and found the English muffin to be dense and relatively small. But the server was great and the view is great. Maybe I’ll return for a drink and the view. Oh, and you can bring your dog and there is plenty of fresh air ventilation.
Very loud, food very salty. Some advice for manager: not the best idea to have a DJ on a Sunday blast 90’s hip hop, Friday night? Great! But on a Sunday where people are out with their families enjoying the day made no sense to blast music, maybe nice Caribbean sounds would’ve filled your place up. We had to leave because even though we were seated far away from DJ it was too much, and I’m young and love that kind of music.
