The first time I came here 10 days ago everything was excellent. Today was quite the opposite. JW over served loud foul mouthed Kim who verbally attacked me and 3 other patrons. She obviously was intoxicated. People come here to unwind and enjoy the great seafood not to be attacked by some drunk. As a former restaurant & resort manager for 40 years it is extremely important to know when to stop serving. She is a regular who frequently comes every Saturday. I will never come on a Saturday again. It is imperative that no one should ever be over served. Not only is that person liable but so is the restaurant if a car accident is involved. Food great...service needs work.
Was told about the fish fry and had to go and try it. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. The dish looked amazing and the look I was hoping for. However, I would not order this dish again. Very greasy and the the texture of the fish was somewhat oily/slimy so I tried to eat as much as I could, thought maybe it was me. I’ll still come back to try other dishes, but this dish was not my favorite. The fish is SWAI fresh water.
Delicious dinner tonight. Was really busy but was seated immediately and for me the full rack of ribs was awesome!
Great oysters! Great prices. Always enjoy it here.
Fun, atmosphere. Nice to sit outside and not be over taken by the noise of other tables. Service could have been a little friendlier though. Food was ok, although I had a salad.... Was fresh with actual candied pecans :)
Deerfield Beach The most fun and best food - love this place! Have been eating here for several years. In my opinion, and also that of my husband, we think you will never find another place like this - outside you can sit on slider bench seats surrounded by fountains, and kitchy pirate decor; inside it's all cameraderie and day-glo and sea decor. It works! And the food is fabulous and really the service is good. The best dish is the Mahi with onions and artichoke hearts and some kind of incredible rice. Check their menu online. And if you give your email you get a different special each week plus points (no charge for this). But the friendliness of the place and the joy of having an amazing meal is so worth going there! Lots of food choices and the portions are huge! Always enough to take home, or you can share an entree instead of ordering two. Also prices are definitely reasonable. Unfortunately no reservations for parties under 6 people so sometimes there is a wait. We call to ask before setting out. Usually that works fine. This is a wonderful place to bring friends -- best fish restaurant anywhere! Tons of choices for lunch and dinner. They also have wonderful appetizers and incredible interesting and wonderful desserts -- really check out the menu on their webpage (it's a big menu!) and you'll see how much fun it is. We always leave happy!
I had to eat at home…broken ribs are not conducive to travel. Their traditional corn beef and cabbage was perfect! Each serving had plenty of carrots and red potatoes. Each serving included a piece of Irish soda bread. We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and everyone was correct! Yea, Muddy Waters!
I want to give 5 stars.... the food and drinks were so good and our server Wayne was top notch. However, my husband became violently ill before we even left the restaurant. He thinks it was possibly the oyster shooter he had as an appetizer, since it was a bit dry when it came out (possibly sat out for a while before serving.) He was fine by the time we returned to our hotel. We would still try this place again, but probably avoid raw seafood.
First time here. A sports bar, plus. Great vibe, plenty of seating, great service. They pour a good drink which is always a plus. The food was excellent. I had the crab po'boy with rice & beans.....very good. It was so much I had to take half of it home. Also try the lobster bisque, excellent. We sat at the bar and Kevin took good care of us. Great place, give it a try.
1st time here for me ... My party of 4 golfers all said it was great. Only waited 5 min for table and cold beers. Best raw oysters I've had in 30 years. And at only $1 each, we ordered 3 dozen. Outstanding Poor Boys shrimp sandwiches and Fish Tacos. Service was very pleasant for a busy Thursday evening. Definitely going back...
