I can tell that there's new owners, the food was ok but it wasn't hot like it should be. The egg rolls was hard and cold an not enough desserts to choose from. This place at one point was good. It's not the same anymore!!
It was bad. The sushi was old and smelled very strong. The seaweed wrapping was very strong tasting and had to spit out. Tried the other foods. All the meats have been sitting under the heat lamps for a while. Hard and chewy with burnt glaze sauces. Left unhappy and with a slight stomach ache. Hoping it's not food poisoning.
My family has recently moved down to this area. We've been trying to find a good sushi buffet. We've been here quite a few times, we were satisfied, food was decent.Unlike today, brought my father, who is handicapped with a cane, here for the first time, they escorted us to the booth. I walked away as they were about to sit and order drinks. The booth bottom was not secured, separated from the seat and caused my father to fall to the floor, while he was attempting to save himself from getting back up, other guests in the connected booth on the other side where pushed. The server, didn't care too much, didn't offer to help. He got back up and they sat us directly across from said booth. Now I get back to the new seat after my wife explaining what happen, the server went ahead and sat down another couple. I kindly told the server that the booth is broken, she ignored me, so I said it again because it was a tad loud inside the place, she said "it's okay, he's skinny" in a sarcastic matter. She was absolutely disrespectful and disrespectful to the handicapped. She then tried to claim she was the manager, pretty sure a manager wouldn't say that nor try to throw profanity at us and attempt to kick us out. Mind you this entire scene was watched by majority of the place, and people were disgusted. We ended up leaving after the 'actual' manager tried to plead.Unfortunately we forgot the keys on the table, my wife went back in because we were heated. The same said server was mocking and laughing at the situation. Disrespectful, disgusted.As per the other reviews and reviews on Yelp, I see we're not the only ones who has an issue with this place. Plenty of other great options in the area for food.
It's been awhile since I visited and I was harshly reminded why in no uncertain terms.The fare is typical but the quality is well below standard even for a lower-tier Chinese buffet; however, Ichiban has managed to raise their prices by 40%+!At about a half hour before the posted closing time the remaining diners were pressured to pay their tabs so they could closeout their books.Once the receipts were collected, the nastiest young gorgon - who claimed to be the owner and would not give her name - began "inviting" people to leave under threat of calling police ... "You paid. You GO!"My advice: No good. YOU NO GO!
All the food was fairly cold and not the best at all, the sushi was nowhere fresh. We all ended up with a stomachache unfortunately. I assume the needed to change meal courses but the trays were full. I went with my 2 kids and spent about 70 bucks plus tips.
Food is great. Service- blows. You’ll get your refills, and they’ll take your plates. WATCH YOUR BILL. Server tried to tell us we owed $65 for 3 people, when the bill was only $50. They will harass you about paying over a 20% tip. Tips are earned, not mandatory. The server pitched a fit as if she was a toddler. Just a heads up.
Why I give it a ONE. After paying the bill the waitress looks at my credit card receipt. I left her a $3.50 tip and she comes back to me and says you need to leave me what it says in the suggested tip part at the bottom. which was $4.50. When I go to a buffet and all the waitress does is pickup the empty plates ONCE while we are they does not deserve 18% tip. By the way the food was good.

The price is $13 for the dinner . The place is the price , I would not complain about anything because the price is $13 … so you know what to expect . But ! The hygienic of the place is not quite good , I don’t lake to go to the eat station and find some one else mess , and that is all arround.Enjoy it
