I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was really disappointing. I used to go to the Dandy in Pompano all the time in my teens. This location was really gross, it’s a shame. Both doors broken, windows and counter filthy. It looked like the place hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Donuts were bad compared to Pompano. Idk why they expanded.
Been going here for years and I honestly love their donuts but within the last year or so the quality has gone way down hill. It’s a 50/50 on weather the donuts are fresh. Just picked up 2 donuts with icing, both were stale and put in the bag upside down where the icing came off in the bag.
I have been going to Dandee Doughnut Factory on Federal Highway for years I got tired of the same old doughnuts the other big-name places had. I discovered a place that makes fresh doughnuts throughout the day: Dandee Doughnut Factory! This creative doughnut shop offers a different variety of doughnuts including seasonal specials, along with the usual favorites. You simply cannot get a better doughnut anywhere. The large variety from the simplest old-fashioned doughnut to the more complex flavors like Oreo cookie, Key Lime Pie or chocolate mint, makes it hard to choose which doughnuts you want to try (see picture). I still have not tried them all! There is also a large selection of muffins made the old fashioned way, bagels and some specialty items. The coffee is always hot and fresh. This place is super clean which I truly appreciate. The staff is always friendly and professional. They serve breakfast and lunch 24 hours per day. You can't get a bigger or better angus beef hamburger anywhere., and all beef angus hot dogs, philly cheese steaks and Salads are all on the menu. Eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, oatmeal, pancakes and waffles are all made to order. Warning: Dandee Doughnut Factory is addictive.
Delicious donuts. I had the honey dipped because after years of eating donuts, I like my donuts slightly sweet and simple. We visited them twice, once at 10pm (the donuts were fresh) and again at 10am on my way to the airport. There was a line at 10am, but the hostess was a pro at moving people along.
Stopped on the spur of the moment for a late-night treat. The doughnuts were excellent and the service was excellent.
Went in w/family to get chicken sandwich and donuts, watched roach wander around food case - I refused to eat anything coming from there. Everything looked crusty.
Like my dates I want my donuts fresh and sassy. These donuts fit the bill. The place offers a little of everything but my tip is to go for the donuts.
Best donuts in South FL. Best service with a smile too.
Down doing some research and reconnaissance in Deerfield Pompano area and drove by. I’ve heard of it but had never been in. So many choices of donuts! Great old-fashioned diner feel… You can sit at the counter or get a table, or do takeout. But if you want breakfast or lunch you can get that too! And, they have all the coffees!!
Dander is worth the sometimes wait- have eaten here for 6 years or more- staff is quick and friendly Food is cooked well and comes out of the kitchen quickly and hot! Breakfast I always have is scrambled eggs with hash brown potatoes on top served with 4 pcs fresh flat bacon and the best part they serve the greatest bottle of orange juice anywhere- Natalie’s own brand- all this for approx 15.00$. Scrumptious! Jimmy
