The only reason why I didn't give a 1 star is because our waitress was quick and good. The food was ridiculously overpriced for what we got. We paid $16 for 2 shrimp tostadas where the shrimp were cut in half. $10 for a drink that was probably 4 sips and mostly margaritas mix, and if you wanted more chips and salsa it was extra. Our burritos only had meat with nothing else and was without flavor. Very disappointed that this place has gone down so much it used to be delicious. That will be our last time going.
Excellent food and service. I was very impressed by this team who was working together very quickly to serve the patrons. We were helped by 5 different people who all made sure we had everything we needed to have a most enjoyable experience and the food was great! We are visiting from California and would love to have a place like this to eat regularly.
Great Place To UnwindThis place never disappoints! the food is the freshest. This is definitely the right place to enjoy a margarita and a meal. The bartender and waitstaff are there to cater to your needs. Table side guacamole!!!!!! It’s the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Florida!! The owner, Emilio, goes to Mexico every few weeks to bring back authentic spices……. Must Try This Place!
Boy how things have changed! We visited on April 28, 2022. We ordered our full meal at 7:15PM. We had the chips and salsa on the table and they brought more, which BTW they charge for extra chips and salsa now and give you less! $2 for each!We gestured to the waiter a few times. At exactly 8PM I finally called the waiter over to ask what is happening. He check the kitchen and came back and said he failed to put the tickets in and asked us what we wanted again. He didn't even act like it was a massive misstep. We asked if this means we are ordering from scratch and it will act as a first time order regarding the time. He sheepishly said yes, and we got up and left! We didn't even pay for the grocamolie and extra chips we got in the over 45 minutes of waiting for nothing.I would have complained face to face, but other party members just wanted to leave. I phoned and complained and they promised that we would be taken care of next time. I don't even know if I want to revisit at this point.Service quality in restaurants has hit an all time low. I suggest you just pick up your food and eat at home. You won't have to tip or pay for soda.
We came two times for dinner and both were delightful, providing delicious food and great service. The attitude of the young staff is outstanding. We had the quesadillas pibil one night and panuchos and the tulum burritos the other. The Maya margaritas are great too. Informal inside with booths and tables, some tables outside on the sidewalk.
Hubby and I enjoyed the atmosphere here but we weren’t very impressed. We’re mostly vegan, so I ordered the vegetable fajitas which were AMAZING! But the rice and beans lacked flavor as well as the fish my hubby ordered, everything else was kind of bland, so we left disappointed. We gave it a shot but won’t be back.
Their food is amazing. Place is so inviting and cozy. Great service. These new Mexican places have nothing on this place. If you want the freshest salsa guacamole amazing margaritas and delicious food this is your place. Only blocks from the beach
The place is very cute and seemed to have potential at first. We ordered two margaritas, which I was happy about due to it having actual lime juice, and not the artificial stuff other restaurants use. We ordered Guac and chips, my partner ordered the Al Carbon tacos, and I ordered a quesadilla. Once the Guac arrived, I immediately regretted our order… the Guac had no flavor- no salt and no lime…. Terrible. The quesadilla had shredded mozzarella cheese with steak… nothing special, no special sauce or anything else. I think Taco Bell has a better quesadilla and I don’t even like it. We are Latin, and Mexican food lovers but this one was definitely a NO for us. We were really looking forward to a great Mexican dinner, it was a total disappointment. Customer service was great.
The food was delicious and it came super quick. Our waitress was super nice, however she didn't know our meals get sides and we would have not got all our food if we didn't ask her to ask her manager. That's why 4 stars and not 5. But we will definitely be back.
Waited 10 min to talk to someone about getting a seat. We had 3 waitresses one right after the other asking the dame questions. There was no silverware. Our meals did not come out at the same time. Waited at least 15 min between being served. Ordered fajitas. The rice came first. 10 min later the fajitas. 20 min later the tortillas
