Been working at Bru’s room for a year now and decided to come in on my off day and get a to go beverage (that we do make there). I sit outside the area we call the moon because even though I know the rules, I didn’t want any controversy getting my drink. Soon as I order my drink, I Rudely get greeted by managers standing there while I get my drink explaining to me the rules that I am very much aware of. Stating that my drink would be considered an outside drink even though I purchased from the restaurant and was standing by the moon. Needless to say, my experience was horrible. It was slow so I thought I would come hook my bartender friend with something to do and a tip but he also gave me attitude and made me feel very uncomfortable. For you to literally stand there while I order my drink, give me attitude and continue to make up rules as I am standing there was unacceptable . I definitely would not be patronizing this restaurant and I will be putting in my two weeks notice very soon.

We walked in today 5/21 and as it was hot out so we went inside to the bar. A waitress took our drink order, then the Manager came over and said the bar was closed we had to go sit outside, really??? Then the waitress said we could sit at a table, what’s the difference? SMH??‍♀️! So we left, it wasn’t even busy, glad you don’t need my business!

Brunch Time Was Perfect For Dining...The Food Was Excellent And So Was The Drinks! The Waiter And Manager Was Super Friendly And Welcoming ?The Food Service Was SUPER FAST!!There Wasn't Much People Traffic,Considering It's On The Beach...There's Plenty Of Parking In A Four Story Paying Parking Garage...

Lack of management but good service and great food. This place has a million excuses why the place is dilapidated and falling apart. Its been in disrepair for over 6 months and the management does not seem to care. We’ve heard that it’s too expensive, it’s hard to find the part, there are no mechanics available, it will fix itself. We tried to notify corporate to assist in fixing the problems for the restaurant and bar but good luck trying to get a hold of anyone. Corporate does not answer phone calls or emails but whatever. Maybe someone can start a kickstarter or a donation fund to get the place fixed.

No. One million times no. Wait for one of the restaurants by the beach or leave earlier. It had been years since the last time we were here and truth be told, we only ended up here because the wait was so long at Flanigans and The Whale. We figured that the wait here would be shorter because it's a bigger place with more seating and farther from the beach.I walked up and things weren't busy or dead (outside), but inside it was DEAD. I asked if I could get a seat for three outside and the server told me to sit anywhere and she'd be right with me. She came by 10 min later (fine) and brought me one menu.... Didn't ask how many in our party, didn't introduce herself, nothing. The rest of our party joined and she never brought more menus, drinks, silverware, or napkins. It had been more than 20 minutes when I got up and asked the server for an update, she said she didn't know. 15 min later, our food showed up. We ordered food that need to eat with your hands, and napkins or wipes were never brought out.She never apologized for being so late, never refilled my drink, brought napkins or silverware. I wanted to pay and leave but she took so long I went inside. She told me she'd be right with us but she didn't come, we had to flag her down once more before we got the check.

Got take out here the other day. Haven’t been here since 2018.Got the Lunch Chicken Cesar and the lunch Tenders and fries.Portions were not huge, but decent for lunch and each cost $9 per.You get 3 tenders and a handful of fries, and you get 8 oz of salad with a few croutons and a side of chicken, about 4 oz. Cesar dressing is extremely fishy. I’m not a fan of fishy Cesar dressing. But still as a whole not bad.Tenders were good, fries were fine. For the $18 + tax price tag I guess it wasent bad.Next time though I would probley eat there being that by the time I got it home it was Luke warm and a little soggy.Overall I would recommend, even though times have changed, portions are small and prices are up, you’ll still get a decent lunch for under 20 bucks.

Of all the joints right here on the beach, Bru’s might be my favorite place when I want to munch out on regular American bar food. Whale’s Rib is cramped and doesn’t have fries, Flanagan’s is forever mediocre, Oceans 234 and JB’s will cost $50 per person before drinks for fancy food that won’t cure that craving.I think their menu was a lot bigger pre-covid, I’m hoping it will come back one day, but the smaller menu still has plenty of keepers, and I won’t hold it against them because most restaurants rolled back their selections with product and staff shortages thanks to covid.

I dont really ever choose boneless wings, but the lemon pepper boneless wings I would definitely drive the 40m back for. Very quick to seat us, but service was kind of slow. If you're going at night and want to eat outside, please bring a sweater. They have fans everywhere and that plus the wind makes for a frigid evening believe me.

If you sit outside you might get Scott. Scott is bald with a beard, about 35. He was convinced that my fiancée was underage but that didn’t stop him from hitting on her. Right in front of me. So if you go to this Brus room keep your wife close and your daughter closer.

I was there last Saturday night and when we (party of 9) walked in, no one greeted us and did not even offer us a table. We stood and waited for a table and the only big table available was dirty! We stood by the bar and not even the older women at the bar acknowledged us! We saw a server walk by and asked if we could sit there and if he could clean the table, his sense of urgency was not there and almost looked like he hated his job by his attitude and his pace. We must of stood there for 20 mins until I went to the kitchen and approached the same gentleman and he told me that he could not find the hostess and a young African American girl approached me saying she was the manager and I explained the situation and she gave me an attitude back and told me to wait for the hostess that she is probably cleaning other tables (no one was cleaning tables inside or out). Some other guest walked in a stood there and since no one greeted them they just went in and sat wherever they found a clean table! The same server came out cleaned the table spreading food onto all the chairs and floor where we were sitting which at that point we were fed up and walked out! This type of service should be unacceptable at a job where great service needs to be provided!
